Sooooooo....we drew The Forsaken and the London Rippers for our 2 Zeta pre-season scrimmages. How did the rest of you guys fare? Anyone wanna get a running tally of the Alpha vs. Zeta conflict?

I know people say scrimmages don't mean anything, and to some extent I agree with that statement when it pertains to mid-season scrimmages. The Argonauts for one will be taking our pre-season work VERY seriously this season...

Also, how is everyone on their roster developments and FA acquisitions? Still too early to do a Pre-Season ranking, or should we wait until the pre-season is over?

Tough pre-season schedule. Parma lost to only 5 teams last year including scrimmages.

One was to the Rippers in the WEBBB Tournament and the other was to The Forsaken in the title game.

Boss, the Mounties knocked us out of WEBBB. We beat the Rippers.

ETA: Rippers are a tough matchup, to be fair. Solid defense they've got over there, IIRC.

lol....I was gonna say. If I remembered right you guys beat us int he Tourney. I guarantee if we play again this year I will not underestimate you like I did in the Tourney.

You guys have a great team. Solid all the way around.

We play a team that I believe was in BBB#1 Zeta in season 6 first ACC. Should get us some great testing of some new stuff we may end up using in regular season games. After that preseason contest which I expect to be close and exciting we will be beating the living snot out of the Bavarian Motor Works in a battle for regional superiority. Die Jugend Marschiert.

We got Ruhr and Stalingrad out the hat for our scrimmages. Should be a good marker for us and see how wisely/foolishly I spent on FA's over the offseason.

We'll use them to test out new playbooks and whatnot as usual, so I don't hold too much stock in the result, more in how certain things work out.

Be interesting to see what the pre-season rankings pan out at.

Does it really matter which confrence wins McG? Does your E-Peen grow if a team that beat your ass wins a championship?

Yes, a nice sized e peen gets those nice e girls for a nice e relationship that ends up e breaking your wallet.

in previous seasons we had some non competitive games in which we couldn't gauge anything and then had to try and do it game 1 and 2 of the regular season... These two are tough so it will give us a good look at what we can do from the get go!!
