honestly I felt like they got a bit better when Gpack left. I don't think GBpack was really into GLB that last season as much as he was in previous seasons and it reflected on the field.
I will miss the bitter rivalry we had with them though

They recruited REALLY well for the playoffs. They were MUCH better at the end of the season.
They also got rid of all their players before the end of the season. They literally had 0 players on day 41.
They were ready for MaRAWK!!o

I dont know what went down when I left, but I will say that I only had control of the defense and team forums. The offense wasn't my area of specialty and Bruiser had control of that. Our 3 point offensive output in the Tripoli game was my final game on GLB as far as I was concerned. The sims were making absolutely no sense from a common-sense football standpoint, GLB has a creator and other "authoritative" figures that truly dont seem to care what the paying customer has to say, and things got busy for me at the fire station and with school, so I left.
I'm sort've back, but not in a GMing or owning capacity. I plan to keep maybe 1-2 of my players, retire and restart 1 or 2 more, and keep them updated and active on team forums.
One final word: LTD and Brit(ney) are still entirely and undeniably gay.
