Warrior General Games

This was generally well received by everyone the last two seasons in BBB11, so it’s back for Season 8 in A6!

This is like the college football rankings for the next season, one day after the BCS championship game. There's going to be additions, subtractions, chemistry hits and recoup, etc. Some rosters don't even have all their starters yet, so this is a folly to even try.

This preseason ranking is a power ranking, based on a few variables which are sort of like the BCS formula. I've given hints, but I'm the only one who really knows what goes into this. As the season goes on and team rosters change and teams play each other, this will look more like the league standings, although it might not look that way early on in the season.

The preseason ranking will contain all 32 teams, 16 Eastern and 16 Western. Beginning after regular season week one, it will contain the top 8 teams of the Power Ranking, with some teams moving out each week possibly and new teams moving in. (This ranking is based on Season 8, not any results or standings from Season 7.)

For those of you that were slighted in this post, I'm sorry. Feel free to a) heckle and/or flame me b) copy and paste into your team forum as bulletin board material or c) both a) and b).

Obviously a lot can change during the preseason and regular season, but this is how one biased owner sees things now.

Glad we've got someone in A6 with a proven system for this. Slayerrico did a pretty good job last season, but lost some steam.

Now the real trick will be living up to the early rankings.

It's going to be a long season for the Rex! Thanks for getting this together again. We are looking forward to the updates!

Sly couldn't bother me if he had a gaggle of Perfect 10 models behind him. (Might get my attention though. . .)

I never took the time to tell you how much I appreciated the time you spent on that Wolves game for us. Really helped us fix some holes although Iowa surely had our number last regular season and playoffs (both losses.)

Nothing to fear there, the 150 PM limit cleared any remnants of that PM. Unless Dallas runs the same AI's, then there's always server backups. . .

Hmmm... we actually like Sly. He helped us when we were but a fledgling team and has always been a great Rex supporter. We may not be challenging him at this point but I've been lucky to have a young team with someone willing to help.

I like not being in 1st to start things off, lets some pressure off, but I have confidence the Bears will have a great season.

nice job with the wayyyyy to early rankings...it will be fun to look back at this at the end of the reg season to see how close it was.

True, but he wanted to hype up the conference and did make the boards interesting at times

Honestly since CCIA beat the Assualt I would have to rank them above us. I'm hoping we get to play CCIA at the end of the season when their chemistry is better. That kind of sucks if that affects their season.

I am not so sure about that formula unless Texas has just signed a lot of players.

The Vulcans beat them in week 15 and in the conference championship game but still everyone still puts them ahead of us.
