ok guys Not for sure how they will filter this down, but Normal promotion/relegation will be processed first, then sold/non-competitive teams will be dropped to the lowest league. Looking at Canada and the leagues in it on the prymid we fall under there should be 13-14 slots open in Canada AA3 may be more, 8 cpu slots, 4 normal promotion slots 1-2 slots from cpu teams in higher leagues that teams will be pushed up to fill them. now here are the rules to promotion
1. Number of playoff victories
2. Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams)
3. Regular season wins
4. Regular season ties
5. Regular season points scored
6. Regular season points against (lower is better)
7. Postseason scrimmage wins (not friendlies)
8. Postseason scrimmage ties (not friendlies)
9. Avg playoff game points differential
10. Avg postseason scrimmage points differential
11. Avg playoff points scored
12. Avg postseason scrimmage points scored
13. Avg playoff points allowed (lower is better)
14. Avg postseason scrimmages points allowed (lower is better)
15. Random selection.
When you figure this you have to consider Canada A5 and A6
if that is the case you know the 4 teams in conference championships are in. and leaves 9-10 slots left.
going by the rules that are put out here is a top 15 list for Canada A5 and A6
1.Manitoba Maulers
2. Ottawa Wolves
3.Mont-Joli Mooseknuckles
4.Windsor Warhammers
5.Cobden Muskrats
6.Toronto Thunder
7.Cincinnati Cardinals
8.Yellowknife Raging Eskimos
9.Yellowknife Rat Ogres
10.Black River Rats
11.Vancouver Vikings
12.Moose Head Thundering Herd
13.North Bay Drift
14.Thunder Bay Marauders
15.CENTRALIA GIL T DOGGS
16.Greenland Smokers
Now I could be a little wrong but going by the promotion rules this should be correct, playoff wins first then reg season wins followed by reg season points.
i am willing to bet the top 12 make it the other 4 have a outside shot with leagues above canada AA3 having cpu teams and still a chance of more teams being sold before they promote and regulate
