Warrior General Games

Chalk up VKS to the "just another statistic" category. In honor of TIT, VKS will also be hanging it up after this game. (ok, not really the reason but I think we all know what's going on with GLB and time restraints, season 1 builds, and multiple other issues).

It's been a fun run. I suppose this should have gone in the main Oceania thread since we have a lot of history from the A league all the way up to Pro but I'm not making this a farewell speech since we'll be undergoing a "rebirth" of sorts. Amazingly we have a couple of options right now but will attempt to remain in Oceania at some level.

Thanks for the good times, friendly rivalries, and all that jazz.


Poachers: Some people already have spots lined up (and have so since before this decision was made). Some others will be retiring guys (me included) and others already have an inkling of an idea for where their guys will land. The pickins are slim. Don't let that stop ya though. There are some guys available

Unreal....this sucks. Too many good teams folding.

I guess Zeta will be a GRINDER next season with the "rebirth" of some teams next year.

The problem there is that if he's not closely monitored, he tries for 70+ yarders. Apparently when Bort nerfed kicking he neglected to update the "auto-distance" feature. My K thinks he can kick FG's that Bort has made impossible. haha

So does Juan...LOL.

Wow, the Convicts haven't been here all that long, but we knew of VKS long before we got to OPL. There are going to be a lot of new teams up in OPL next season. Sort of ironic that two teams moving down were promoted last season.

I agree with the above statement.

Cable, like I said in the PM...you being the first team to go from Oceania A to Oceania Pro set a precedent for what we wanted to do in Samoa. To put it lightly, you will be very missed.

Thats what plagued us later in the season with our kicker. ><
