Perennial underachievers, the Tranmere Titans today earned their first Conference Title, with a dramatic win over the powerful Glasgow Coloured Trombones. The Titans have underachieved for many seasons now, and some players feel they may have finally turned a corner.

One half of the Titans star cornerback tandem, Phoenix Xavier-Xerxes had this to say; "Ah man, what a game! What a perfect way to end the season. Glasgow have beaten us before, and we knew we'd have to really step up and bring our A-game, and I feel we did just that. I can't get my head around this...our first bowl game, baby. We're going to the Super Bowl!"

Titans GM Magnitude released this official statement: GG Glasgow. We knew it'd be tough, and we prepared for you for days, and in the end, we took it, in what is a helluvan end to the season, and a great time for us Titans, who have always fallen short so many times. Best of luck in the future.

The Titans are now looking forward to the final game of the season, where they will defend the Zeta name in the Super Bowl!

Congratz Titans, very good team you got there.

There was nothing we could have done to win it.

Likewise! We're gonna put on a hell of a show!

Same to you, Glasgow...we're amazed at the margin.

I`m utterly astounded by that victory today. I thought the huskies game was a great result but today blew that out of the water. To put 60 plus points on 2 teams, and very good teams at that, in the PlayOffs is amazing to be honest and something I never expected.

GG Limerick and Tranmere
What a strong 4th quarter Titans, and way to pull out a win in a defensive battle Limerick. Should make for an interesting title game, Go Zeta!

The first tie-breaker is the team record:

Limerick Vikings: 13-3
Tranmere Titans: 13-3

The second tie-breaker is points scored:

Limerick Vikings: 896
Tranmere Titans: 897

Home field advantage goes to Tranmere Titans by 1 point!!! That point is worth a few million $$$.
