Looking at the Western Europe AAA League there are currently 4 CPU teams and i have heard at least one more may sell. With the current promotion/relegation plan those 4 teams drop to the lowest league and are not part of the "normal" relegation process.

So, for next season it looks like the normal promotions will happen + one or two more teams from each conference. I would say there is a decent chance that if you were in the top 4 of either league you are going to get promoted.

I don't know all the math and can't speak of anything for certain thisis just based on how I understand it.

If i were a betting man i would bet on the following teams being promoted to AAA next season:

Alpha
- Rome
- Paris
- West Yorkshire

Zeta
- Noles
- Helsinki
- Judah

It possible we might see more teams move up. This is just want I see now. I will also depend on the other AA league.

All this being said, if it's like last year I have no idea what's going to happen =)

We'll be glad to stick around. It would have been nice for Plainview to stay in A last year and get a home playoff game or two. We still haven't gotten one and financially that would sure help out. But we'll continue to do what we can with what we have.

The only way I could see you being moved up is if more than half the AAA league goes CPU or you have beaten several PRO teams in scrimages.

The new sort order is:

1. Number of playoff victories
2. Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams)
3. Regular season wins
4. Regular season ties
5. Regular season points scored
6. Regular season points against (lower is better)
7. Postseason scrimmage wins (not friendlies)
8. Postseason scrimmage ties (not friendlies)
9. Avg playoff game points differential
10. Avg postseason scrimmage points differential
11. Avg playoff points scored
12. Avg postseason scrimmage points scored
13. Avg playoff points allowed (lower is better)
14. Avg postseason scrimmages points allowed (lower is better)
15. Random selection.

Based on the process Bort uses (posted above), the Noles will likely be returning to AA next season. The other 5 could very well be promoted though.

True... I was thinking their regular season record might be enough to get them promoted.

Now it looks like West Yorkshire goes for sure, Paris a good bet to go, Rome stays The tricky part is that some more teams could go CPU at season end and so the list of promoted teams could get longer at the last minute. In this case it would take two more to get one more of ours sent up to AAA.

There are 3 teams in the pros gone cpu as well as the 2 in AAA. Could have a domino effect on teams moved up.

Rome is fine either way, tbh

I hate the process as it is. Recruiting sucks when you dont know which level you will be in

We'll know day 42, when contracts can be offered to FAs.

PROMOTIONS:

So as of NOW

these teams should promote:
**West Yorkshire AA1
**Helsinki AA1
**Louisville AA2
**Omaha AA2

*Marcy AA2 15-1
*Paris AA1 13-3
*Dayton AA2 10-6
*Judah AA1 9-7
Rome AA1 15-1
Newcastle AA1 14-2 1009pts

These teams are below the cut-off, in this order, but if anymore AAA#1 or Pro teams fold they may still get the call up

Amsterdam AA2 14-2 888pts
Hungary AA2 13-3 1142pts
Stockholm AA1 13-3 1046pts
Rotterdam AA1 12-4
Permian AA2 11-5
Canterbury AA2 10-6

**=automatic promotion for championship game
*=played in conference final game

These #'s include 4 AAA#1 teams going CPU, and 2 Pro teams going CPU (calculations show AAA#1 replace both the first 2 Pro teams so far, the next 2 Pro teams to drop come from AAA#2 though).

I'm actually happy to be back, but I do find it funny that considering how we did against West Yorkshire, Helskinki, and Judah head to head that we're on the outside looking in.
