Props to our D coordinator for figuring out a way to "tame the beast". We could not of been more worried about this game!

Good luck next season

Thanks, there's one simple way to slow down Never, build a huge lead. If I have one regret on offense it is that we passed more than we should have early. We'd get sacked and that would get us out of our game.

It's just a scrimmage, but yippee, we get to try and stop Nevers!! 370 broken tackles in 16 games, 50 broken tackles in 2 playoff games. After playing WYW, and their PB tandem from hell, we don't have to change a thing on our defense. It'll still be ineffective.

I wish I had some secret to give you but I really don't.

If you watch our film you will just see us selling out to stop the run. Safety, MLB, the kitchen sink..... Anything else we could throw at them.

As odd as it sounds the difference in our game was really the pass rush. Blutoski was right on when he said the sacks forced them out of their game.

I called a bad game. I had run set to 80% pass to 20% on the AI for first and then second and 7.5 or less. If I had us at 100% run in those situations, we would have avoided those sacks. I just knew you'd sell out to stop the run and believed that we had to take advantage of it.

Unless my coordinators post gameplans, you'll see the same thing we threw at WYW. I gave them the rest of the season off.

You'll probably get a bit less Never. I will probably switch up to a pass friendlier AI so that we can get some of our other players the ball more. I don't expect next year to be so much Never. I'm sure Bort will nerf the power backs.

This season, one of my backs whose alway been good seemed to have a really crappy season. My #3, who's somewhat of a power back had a better season.

Seems like Bort nerfed the elusive backs. The power backs have even made my well built DTs seem incompetent. Since when can't a DT with around 110 str, 50+ speed, and 65+ agility not be able to bring a 200 lb. back down?

Ernie Never has always been a good back. He's been over 7,000 yards total over the past 3 years and averaged over 7 yards a carry, but this was just extreme this year. Last year he broke 136 tackles on 348 carries. This year he broke 370 on 495 and here's a little secret, he did it with under 80 strength.

Well anyway, gameplan or no, we've never had our offense stuffed the way you guys did.

We tried to experiment with running our backup left out of the Strong I, but it didn't work.

The offense we threw at WYW did not work very well against you guys. Your really good defense had a lot to do with it though.

Our defense was very good this year, but had problems with some sets which left our MLB covering WRs. Boy did Bushy Park kill us on that one.

You must not have blitzed much. We had our blitz package in which does not work well against a lot of zone.
