This is all just for fun. Got bored at work. I'm pulling the scores directly from my rectal cavity, so they may or may not have basis in reality. Predictions cost just 5.99 per minute. You must be over 18 or have your parents permission to call...
Ukraine v. Florida State
I've only recently become aware of the breakaway eastern European republic of Florida State, but apparently they have a decent football team. Unfortunately for them, they face Ukraine in the first round. While the GLB sim is known for bizarre first round results against #1 seeds, I think the Warheads will win this one. >whisperwhisper< Eh? They're both the Warheads? >whisperwhisperwhisper< No, I'm not just hedging my bets. Leave me alone and let me get on with it!
Ahem. Warheads win this one 42-17
Kiev v. Caspian Sea
Eastern Europe is a land of mystery, magic and fantastical legendary creatures (like bear cavalry). We even have underwater cities in the Caspian Sea. Fortunately Kiev is playing at home instead of having to hold their breath for 60 minutes of football. All that seawater will pretty much get soaked right up by the Steppes. Cossacks get revenge over the Dragons in another close game: 24-20
Birmingham v. Macedonia
The tiny Bosnian village of Birmingham is stacked with incredible football talent. Out of the two hundred residents of this small farming community, more than eighty are either playing football currently, training to play football, or retired from playing and coaching. The rest are women who compete in Olympic weightlifting events. Macedonia can, on occasion, run the hell out of the ball. Unfortunately being from Greece they get distracted by young boys. The Bolts are more complete and thus will triumph over the Mountain Lions quite convincingly. 52-24 Bolts.
Chernobyl v. Rome
CNA is a tough team year in and year out. How a bunch of mutated freaks with extra arms and legs, strange rashes and orifaces dripping goo stay successful is mind boggling. It's probably because everyone is afraid to touch them lest their skin start to slough off in large patches. Rome is a tough team to beat...well, I say team but it's really just one giant copper sculpture. Since it's larger than a football field all it has to do is fall over into the endzone. Still, it manages to miss sometimes, so I give Chernobyl the nod here in another close one 17-14.
There you go, some Zeta predictions.
