---The fight for 2nd place---

#2 Booty Bay Bandits---(11-4)---(2)---#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---Shocking loss to the punch has taken from this game what little luster might have been left. Fight for silver medal is on.
#3 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---(11-4)---(3)---#6 Flin Flon Flyers---Solid win over the Tundra has them poised to avoid the Peaks until the Conference championship...might be key for promotion consideration.
#4 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---(10-5)---(4)---#7 Halifax Knights---Huge win over the Bandits has this team peaking (no pun intended) at the right time. This is a team no one wants to play over the course of the next few games.

---Solid teams you don't want to play---

#5 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---(11-4)---(5)---#9 Moncton Machine---The Quakes are a nice team and they may have combined the fine art of a good season, minus the early promotion. Key to GLB long-term success.
#6 Flin Flon Flyers---(8-7)---(8)---#3 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---Cannot figure these guys out. Not sure how you lose to the Hawks and beat the Machine in back-to-back weeks.
#7 Halifax Knights---(8-7)---(6)---#4 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---Loss the the Chronic may have sealed their playoff exclusion. Hard to believe the playoffs might not include these guys.
#8 Prince Rupert Catsharks---(8-7)---(9)---#15 Canadian Bacon---They should be sending the Chronic a basket of fruit. Looks like the Sharks might just sneak into the dance during the last song.

---Nothing to be afraid of here---

#9 Moncton Machine---(9-6)---(7)---#5 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---They might be in the playoffs, but they are not one of my top 8 teams.
#10 New Amsterdam Chronic---(8-7)---(10)---#13 Quahog Blumpkins---Huge win against the Knights has them on the edge playoff glory, but I don't see them putting much of a dent in it once they get there.
#11 The Frozen Tundra---(7-8)---(11)---#16 West Side Hellcats---Not this year, but at least you will end up the season with a win. I've been told that's something 32 college football teams care a lot about.

---Bottom Feeders---

#12 St. Clair Ice Hawks---(5-10)---(12)---#14 Stillwater Cowboys---Not good enough to beat the Quakes...yet.
#13 Quahog Blumpkins---(4-11)---(13)---#10 New Amsterdam Chronic---They could play spoilers if they knock off a desperate Chronic team.

---Fighting Relegation---

#14 Stillwater Cowboys---(2-13)---(14)---#12 St. Clair Ice Hawks---If most of your team is inactive, does it really matter what I write here. No one from your team is going to read it.
#15 Canadian Bacon---(2-13)---(15)---#8 Prince Rupert Catsharks---They've found a nice two-story with a pool in the BBB for next season.
#16 West Side Hellcats---(0-15)---(16)---#11 The Frozen Tundra---lost Prince Rupert Catsharks---Countdown to 16 at T-1.

That's why they are called "power rankings". They are my version of who the BEST teams are. If you want to gauge everything based on records...look at the standings.

The Chronic are ranked 10th. They lost to Moncton (ranked 9) and they lost to the Catsharks (ranked 8). Besides, these are Game 15 rankings, not Game 16. After 15 games, the playoff teams would have been different. I don't want to get into defending these each week, but I also don't want you to grow an inferiority complex.

Your rankings rule, dont worry about them

we are just messing around, we secretly love being under the radar, dont we all? lol
