Has anyone invested heavily in the slippery VA and noticed a significant rise in broken tackles?

I am considering taking it as a VA but the the way I read the description, it says it adds a 2% per level bonus to your current break tackle chance rather then just a straight +2% per level chance of breaking a takle.

Since I have no idea what the current break tackle chance is for my player, that could mean if I only have a 10% chance currently, I could waste 10 points on Slippery only to have a 12% chance of breaking a tackle. I don't want to waste points on a useless VA so does anyone know if I am looking at it incorrectly or have any direct knowledge that it does in fact have a significant impact on your players ability to break tackles via the elusive running style?

My guy has 10 in slippery. I haven't noticed any kind of broken tackle advantage except when playing gutted or cpu teams, then he gets like 40. other than that it doesn't really help much.

I have it on my TE, and it doesn't appear to do all that much. I think I have 7 or 8 in it.

Works pretty good on my WR I have it at 15 I also have a piece of AE that gives me a +15% chance to break a tackle. Its kind of stupid that bruiser is a 3% though and slippery is only 2% per. Hoping bort gives us a VA respec in the offseason going put a few more points into STR and going bruiser instead of slippery.

Why not take both and run at 50/50?

why would you want to break tackles when your player should be able to run around them?

Welp Slippery netted me 3 broken tackles today, against a good opponent. LOL i don't know if it has to do with slippery over build though.

Completely and utterly useless. It's poorly worded, and it's completely useless.

the only VAs worth using are the ones that increase attributes; PERIOD.

I wouldn't say completely worthless. But not amazing.

I think these are some plays where slippery paid off, to gain some more yards, from the last game of the season against an evenly matched opponent.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=300930&pbp_id=13251281 -turned a 5 yard gain into an 11 yard gain and a first down.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=300930&pbp_id=13253797 -turned a 5 yard gain into an 18 yard gain.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=300930&pbp_id=13252741- looks like a slip of the c.b.

It could just be that the S.S. and C.B. didn't have good tackling or str, but I think slippery might have worked on those 3 plays.

Because you can't use both at the same time. -50 does not equal +50.

Pure speculation..... I have ran all different kinds of elusive this season 20,30,50,10,100 and my HB performs terrible.

On Balanced he is way more elusive. I spent 6 on slippery and it is a total waste.
