Alpha:

Golden Coast Titanz vs West Canaan Coyotes.
West Canaan has really made that late push and had the big upset. West Canaan has the ability to go and give the Titanz a good game, but the Titanz have just been untouchable since that week 1 loss. Golden Coast is the most impressive team in AA.
Golden Coast wins 41-24.

Easter Island Moai vs Samoa Piranha Monkeys.
Wow, this is a super close game. Both teams have the ability to lay down some smack. Moai has just been so consistant and just a pillar of greatness. Samoa seems like the shy little kid that sits in the corner and busts out and goes nuts at times. They are so powerful when they are at their best, but they are so inconsistant.
Easter Island wins 31-14.

Bay City Bohia vs Guam Gamecocks.
This might be the closest of the games in Alpha. Guam has had a little drop in the latter half of the season, but they are still a powerful team that can bring it. Bay City had that big loss to West Canaan and that caused some questions. I know this will be a super tight match that might come down to has the ball last.
Bay City wins in a close one, 28-24.

Palau Pimp Smackers vs Amarillo Super Frogs.
Definatly one of the hardest games to call. I am still somewhat unsure of what to expect from Amarillo on a game to game basis. Palau has an above average start, but really turned it on in the last few weeks of the season, cept a 4 point loss to the Coyotes.
Palau wins 45-28.

Zeta:

Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts vs Perth Cyclones.
This is really a close game, forget that it is a top seed vs the bottom seed. Both teams are so stacked and really solid. I just have this nervous feeling for Davy. Perth had a HUGE win in week 16 to make the playoffs and they are just impressive.
Davy wins in a close one, 48-38.

Fiji Panzers vs Krakatoa Kings.
Nice match here with two teams that are fun to watch. There has been some chat, and a claim by the owner that Krakatoa will be shutting the doors at the end of the season, so I know they are putting all they have into this game.
Fiji wins 31-13.

Hueco Mundo Hollows vs Sumatra Sea Hawks.
Sumatra is so crazy. They start the season by beating Golden Coast, and lose the next week to Asau. Ladies and Gents, that is the story of their whole season. Hueco is one of the best teams in AA, hands down. This will be a great game, one of the best of round one.
Hueco wins 35-21.

Asau Assassins vs Sempre-Sabbath Phenix.
Gosh this is a close one to call. SSP took down Asau just a few weeks back. I know this game will be so tough for both teams. Forget seeds, I see this game as two equal teams going head to head.
Asau wins 24-21.

No sense in a power ranking now, we know who is the top and who is looking ahead as of today. I absolutly hate picking playoff games because if you get like 5 of the 8 right, you are amazing. I am so exited about this next round, it will be HUGE.

Good write-ups...This is for all the marbles...Single elimination baby.

I hope it's not any closer. That would be bad for us.

Should be a good game though. Really wish we didn't have to play you guys again so quick though.

Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs. Will be a lot of good games the next few days

One and done. Regular season matters no more.
Nothing we have done in the regular season will matter one bit if we lose now.

See you on the field West Canaan.

+1. That is the truth of it guys. This is what we play for. We all work all season just so we have the opportunity to fight for one game that says win and move on, or lose and go home. That is the goal. Gotta love it.

I would like to state that I called this match-up on the 29th...

I just hope our team shows up to play... As 3 of our 6 loses in the last 3 seasons have been to SSP. Two of which were Season ending loses... Ill let my QB break a leg as long as SwiftMan Champion pulls a Hammy!

Go ASSASSINS!

You did call it, its almost tradition now that we play each other in the post-season. lol And hopefully swiftman stays healthy for our sake while your backup QB is running the show
Gonna be a tough one for both of us im sure, more than likely will be a close game. If it comes down to our Kicker we are screwed!

Just have to have more attempts... 3 of 4 is a pretty good day for most players. The winner will have been the team to score last! Our FB's are going to have a Hay Day. The FB Medium Pass our WR burnt the Double Team like it was a piece of toast.

I expect my OT's to be doing lots of holding to slow your DE's down.

We need to contain SS Browns... He was the difference in the last game.

In the wonderful words of a QB named Hasselbeck "We want the ball and we are going to score!"

I noticed that our teams are a lot a like... Defensively... that is... We have the top 2 DT's in regards to sacks... How is it a Level 32 DE whose overall is a 39 has 26 sacks? Is it the scheme or is he that talented?

It also seems the playing out of position does not seem to hurt your team. We have the Phenix in our Scopes and we are trying have the Phenix be reborn a few games earlier this Season!

Completely agree. This is when it matters the most. We have quite a hill to climb but we are ready for it.

See ya on the field.

Yea good luck with all of that. I think we have a pretty good plan too.

The Hasselbeck quote isnt what I would use but I get the point haha And its a DE not a DT with those sacks but yea hes very good so far, not sure whats up with his ratings

Good thing about the Phenix is we will always be around for next season so long as around doesn't mean AA2

SSP's Okoye DT has 14 Sacks...
AA's Big Boy Locomotive DT has 13 sacks...

Nobody at the DT position has more sacks in Oceania AA#2 than the two above...

Well if you want to move up you'll have to STOP the FB Medium Pass... I love it as the WR blows right by the S and CB...

Yea Okoye is a solid DT for us for sure, thats Ops' guy. Looking for a big game from him tomorrow thats for sure.

Im sure there are many ways we could help ourselves win, we have chosen carefully, no worries man
2 FBs with 3 receptions all season long...Not sure now is the time to try new things
