1. Rennes Corsairs vs 8. Black Country Knights
These two hooked up in week 11 at BCK and the Corsairs came away with a 45-30 win behind 521 yds of offense by the Corsairs. It was 17 all at the half but Rennes was too strong in the 2nd half. The Knights need a huge day from their defense to win this one. they do have a game changing DE in Wos Anderson but I am not sure if it will be enough. BCK ran a one sided offense and only managed 12 yds rushing. They need more out of their backs.
Rennes 38-28
2. Munich Maniax vs 7. Düsseldorf Bulldozer
These two also met in week 11 which had the Bulldozer going into Munich and winning 37-34. The Bulldozer are 1-4 since that huge win and would love to stop the bleeding. They do know how to win against Munich but the question is can they do it again? Ever since I quit picking the Bulldozer to lose they starting actually doing it. I am going to do them a favor and start it back up.
Munich 41-24
3. The Amsterdam Admirals vs 6. Hattgemstein Volunteers
Back in week 10 the Admirals went into hattgenstein and mopped the floor with the Vols 45-24. WR ThrowMe TheDamnBall had his way with Vols corners all day long. 13 receptions 202 yds 4 TDs. The Vols didn't have a bad offensive day but they couldn't find the big plays that the Admirals did. Two ints by backup QB Jason Ray Thompson didn't help either. I believe this game will be much closer. If the Vols can put the brakes on Throwme and also limit the turnovers then they have a shot. good luck.
Admirals 31-28
4. Hamburg Cheese vs 5. Toulhouse Darkwolves
At one point in the season Toulhouse looked like they could be the 1 seed. They have fallen to fifth and now have to play a strong Hamburg team that already beat them 42-28 3 weeks ago. I haven't shown the Cheese any respect at all this season but now they have earned it and with their 7 game winning streak I am going to give it to them.
Cheese 35-31.
Good luck to all of the playoff teams and congrats for earning a spot in them.
