Vancouver Vikings vs. Arroz Con Pollo: Whew, I've had this one circled since Arroz knocked off the Maulers early in the season. Arroz took a hard loss last week vs Edmonton and is looking to go into the playoffs with a W. But, so are the Vikings as losing to the Chickens could mean dropping out of 1st.
Prediction: I really really hate predicting my own games. I always catch shit for it and I'm really scared that the 1 I get wrong is gonna be my own. But hell, here it goes: Vikings by 7.
Cincinnati Cardinals vs Manitoba Maulers: This is the GOTW! Not only will this decide who gets homefield in round 2, this game is the Mauler's path to taking the #1 spot if the Vikings lose.
Prediction: Maulers by 14.
North Bay Drift vs Canada Dragons: I'm betting the Dragons are happy that they have 7th place locked going into this game as the Drift is going bury them in yellow snow.
Prediction: NBD by 21.
Edmonton Thunderchiefs vs Victoria Fish: This game is it for the Fish. Sadly for them, the Thunderchiefs just took down a really quality opponent in Arroz and I don't see them losing to the Fish even on the Fish's best day. Unless the Fish's D-line grows 10 ft tall, this game goes to the Thunderknowns.
Prediction: Thunderchiefs by 31.
And finally one that doesn't seem like it should belong here:
Moose Jaw Roughriders vs Alberta Quitterundji: There is only one reason this game is here....this is the playoffs edition and the Roughriders are going to make it because Alberta couldn't keep up with pushing buttons every other day. Of course a 8th place berth isn't all that desirable, but hey, it is cash and they played the Vikings well a couple of weeks back.
Prediction: Moosi mating season is beginning.
