Western Conference Standings
1 North By Gawd Texas Tornado Humpers 15-0-0 W15
Still rolling undefeated, but they must have gotten a scare from Jacktown, which has to make the Humpers a bit nervous since there’s now some film on what sort of works against them. Playoff teams will be taking notes on Jacktown’s game, but the question is, will the Humpers force teams to play their usual game or have they been pulling a rope a dope on the league and suddenly switch up for the playoffs?

2 Pontiac War Kittens 13-2-0 W8
They keep rolling with the wins, but the last two games were a bit too close for comfort. They can at least relax for the next game since win or lose since the #2 spot is theirs and they can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they won’t have to face the NBGTTH’s until the conference final.

3 Omaha Mavericks 12-3-0 W6
Critical game for the Mavericks and they are underdogs against Majors. A loss would likely send them to the #4 seed and into NBGTTH’s path for a second round game. A win and they avoid it, regardless of what the Fire does, so their fate is in their own hands.

4 Fresno Fire 12-3-0 L1
With the Mavericks as underdogs against the Majors, they have a realistic chance of moving into the coveted #3 seed to avoid NBGTTH in round 2. Even if they handle business in their own game against Jacktown, they still need help from the Majors to make it happen. This is a must win game for the Fire.

5 Jacktown Smackdown 11-4-0 L2
Jacktown has an advantage over Fresno and with this head to head showdown, the #3 and #4 seeds could realistically swap. If Jacktown handles business, they’ll earn the 1st round playoff cash cow, then likely have a re-match against the NBGTTH’s in round 2, whom they surprised in the last game.

6 Los Angeles Majors 9-6-0 W1
Even at 9-6 and sitting with the #6 seed, they aren’t out of the woods and playing the Mavericks won’t be easy for them, but things are in their favor. If they manage to upset the Mavs, they lock up a post season berth and likely stay in the #6 seed, but if they lose, they’re still in relatively good shape since they own the head to head tie breakers over Reno and D.C.

7 Reno Marauders 8-7-0 W2
In order for Reno to miss the playoffs, a lot has to happen and most of all, Reno losing to the CPU Zephyrs. I suspect that Reno will end up right here in the #7 seed since the Majors own the tie breaker in head to head and also against the Sonics.

8 D.C. Sonics 8-7-0 W1
The Sonics have probably already sent flowers and candy to the Humpers to encourage them to not coast in the last game and make sure they beat San Jose. With the Sonics clinging to the 8th playoff spot and facing a formidable force of cute kittens, they’ll probably lose and will need San Jose to lose as well in order to back into the playoffs with loss at #8.

9 San Jose Chupacabra 8-7-0 L1
San Jose needs to play the game of their life here against the Humpers and figure how they hell Jacktown made the Humpers nervous. With a probable loss of the Sonics to Pontiac, the door should be open for them to steal the #8 seed, but it’s a tall order and they’ll have to do what the best of the rest haven’t been able to do, defeat the Humpers.

Sorry guys, there’s really no point since you’re out of the playoff race. But hey, there’s always bragg’n rights, right?
10 Olympia Dollar Ninety Nines 7-8-0 L3
11 The Militia Minute Men 4-11-0 W2
12 Bay Area Bastards 4-11-0 W3
13 Cincinnati Stallions CPU 2-13-0 L8
14 Allen Zephyrs CPU 2-13-0 L7
15 Riders On The Storm 1-14-0 L12
16 Omaha Invaders 0-15-0 L24

Eastern Conference Standings
1 Eleven Wise Monkeys 15-0-0 W15
Yo Monkey’s, wake up. Bortsville is up next they sent the Demons reeling. Even though the Monkey’s could care less about this game as far as seeding goes, I’m sure they do care regarding dignity and pride.

2 Louisville Nighthawks 12-3-0 L1
Unless a miracle happens and the Nighthawks are upset by the Jaguars, Louisville has the #2 see wrapped up since they own the tie breaker against Freedom, which is what is what’s separating them and Freedom at the moment. It’s a hum drum game since the Jags are out of the playoffs and the only thing on the line is the pecking order between Louisville and Freedom.

3 American Freedom 12-3-0 W4
Freedom put up it’s wish list: 1) For the Demons to unlikely lose two of their last three games, for the NY Warriors to lose to the Demons, and finally for Bortsville to upset two of the last three teams they played. A very tall order from the league, but it all happened and thus getting Freedom out of EWM's early targeting system. Freedom still isn’t safe yet since they still need to beat Tri-Cities to protect the #3 seed, but regardless of the outcome, they’ve got a top 4 seed locked up thanks to the rest of the league.

4 San Francisco Demons 11-4-0 L2
What have I said from day 1 of the season? Pay attention to Bortsville and holy smokes, Bortsville burned the Demons, causing San Francisco to slip into 4th. With their last game against the Assassins, the Demons should have a top 4 seed safely in hand. There is some speculation if they’ll take #3 if Freedom slips based on the head to head tie breaker, but the odds are that they’ll head into the post season right here.

5 New York Warriors 11-4-0 W1
Dropping two in a row against the Demons and then more importantly, getting stung by Bortsville which was probably the most costly loss of the season to this point since it pulled them out of the top 4 seeding. They have an easy game against the Storm Surge, but they’ll need one or two unlikely losses by Freedom and/or San Francisco in their last games.

6 Bristol Bullets 10-5-0 W3
Bristol can take a deep breath and relax because win or lose, they’re in the playoffs with the last game being against the Tigers, it’s just a matter if it’s 6th or 7th and this head to head match up which this game will settle it.

7 Megatropolis Tigers 10-5-0 L1
They’re in the exact same boat as Bristol with being safely in the playoffs and not caring a whole with outcome of the Bristol game. I suppose they could try to hedge their bets and gamble who they might face in round 1 of the playoffs, but there are just too many scenarios to cover.

8 Anonymous Assassins 9-6-0 W3
The second game of the season is in full focus right now with the Assassins holding the head to head tie breaker over Bortsville, so if both the Assassins and Bortsville win (or lose), the Assassins are in. However, the Assassins are playing the Demons, who have a financial reason to win and I doubt that the Assassins will upset the Demons. So, as of right now, in their own interest, the Assassins are all dressed up in Monkey outfits cheering on Monkeys to hold off Bortsville for them.

9 Bortsville Mystery Nerf 9-6-0 W2
Bortsville has played the games of their playoff lives in the last two games and have reeled off two huge upsets, which is part of their mantra, and gave themselves a fighting chance to work back into the playoffs since they can expect an Assassins loss. With their last game against the undefeated Monkeys, they have to play an incredible game to earn a playoff spot.

Sorry guys and gals, better luck next year.

The end of the season has turned out to be pretty exciting. I was banking on Jacktown losing 2 out of these last 3... but Fresno isn't the team I was counting on beating. I don't really understand why Fresno is so underrated this season after they won the league last season.

Needless to say I don't like our odds but we'll do our best to get the #4 seed.

That's because I'm trying to motivate both of them.
