Using it removes the OT from the play or not?

i'm not sure, bort has made comments in the past about an olineman attempting a cut block, failing, and then falling down (which then resulted in him sitting around doing nothing while the Defender ran away). So it's not clear if that means the olineman would not have fallen if he succeeded. if you find the answer, let me know, k thx

Itīs like a pancake I think but the defender is motionless for less time. Iīve seen cases like this where the linesman has 0 pancakes for the game, but for sure something is happening.
And yes it seems to take the player out of the play.
p.s. Iīd love to have a link to Bortīs comments about when a cut block fails.

I meant the OT(aka player doing the play) Mandy.
You guys think it only stops the OT when the play is failed?

If the OT stops and the DE keeps going, its a reverse pancake.
If they both stop, its a cut block.
