With six of the playoff berths all but secured, the final two spots is shaping up to be interesting:

The following teams have essentially secured a spot in the playoffs (team - current record)

This leaves three teams vying for the last two spots:

7 Greek Gods 8-6-0 The Greek Gods have a decent passing game, but face the Red Tide as their next game- a likely loss for the Gods. This is followed up by a game against the Turkeys, another playoff contender with more power. With all-conference contender NEWB tastic, and with the heart cbothe puts into running the team, I am not ruling out the Gods for an upset in this final game. Predicted ending record: 8-8-0.

8 Vancouver Jive Turkeys 8-6-0 A surprising growth season over season, this group of players remains dedicated and fights hard. Their next game against the undefeated GIV is likely a loss, leaving the game against the Gods as a contender. The Turkeys are likely favored to win this game, securing them a berth. Predicted ending record: 9-7-0

9 Stockholm Vikings 7-7-0 The Vikings have held in there, winning some crucial games. With two games against lower-ranked teams (Bosnian Snipers and the slow-building Renegades of Funk), the Vikings may pull off two wins to get a playoff berth. But the Renegades could pull of an upset win; stopping the much-discussed Josh Farrell will be key to them securing a victory. Predicted ending record: 9-7-0

Key to the final playoff berths will be the final game for each of these teams, so expect some boosting prior to this final game. Bonus tokens will also be flying, so it could still be anyone's game.

As noted previously, it all comes down to this last game. With Gods, Turkeys, and Vikings all 8-7, the next game decides it. Gods and Turkeys are playing each other, so winner secures a berth. Vikings are the wild card; if they lose to the Renegades, then the loser of the Gods/Turkeys game may advance (depends on the tie breaker, which I haven't calculated for the teams yet).

This next game is crucial for the Gods, but as noted above, the Turkeys fight hard, so it could be anybody's game. I'll be watching for late time boosts; until then, I'm moving this race back to "too close to call".
