I would have to agree with The OMCW, there have been times when I have sent pm's to people only to have the reason nullified. So I think that I should be able to retract the PM just like a Contract offer.

Preview: Just edit the post. Not a big deal.

I am curious as to what you mean by complication.

Sometimes people screw up a quote so much and it takes them too long to fix it. Then the get the sweet sweet feeling of qffail No one wants that.

If they were quality posters, they would give you a QFQF.

I like the idea of retracting PMs though. My enter button is kind of wonky and sometimes it goes off, which is quite unfortunate when I am typing out the Subject of a PM. It sends a blank PM with half a subject.

Also sending out a PM for recruting then having players sign (meaning you no longer need him). Or looking through the market place finding a player, sending the Agent a PM, then you realize the guy has multiple players you'd be intrested in so you can retract it and edit it

you cant retract e-mail etc. so why be able to retract a pm?

As for the previews, who cares? It will just take more time to post, just edit it immediately if you post something wrong.

What if the PM no longer is relevant? What if you send it the wrong person? I accidentally send PM's just by hitting enter in the subject bar. Stuff happens.

As for the preview its just an idea I got from Yahoo answers to avoid errors

Who cares as I said what if your recruiting and you get someone so the player you PM'd is no longer needed. Or if you send a player a PM then see that he has multiple free agents.

It is my opinion that

Retract PM
Sometimes you send a PM to the wrong person or accidentally send it twice. That is why you should be able to retract said pm.

Post Preview
Sometimes you post a link and it is a poor link, therefor you should be able to hit a preview button to see if it worked. Also sometimes you miss words in a post and the ability to preview would point this out. Not to mention you would avoid being ostracized by a usually quite bitter Posting Community.

Should be implemented eventually

I like retract PM better than Preview, for the reasons Nixx said. Editing a post is easy enough.

I would definitely LOVE to have retract PM feature, as long as the recipient hasn't read it.
