From the outside looking in things look very unclear. It appears the playoff run is very close. But when looking a little closer it's not so close at all. There are a lot of teams yet to play each other, but I don't expect many close games or upsets. So this is how I see the final playoff lineup to look.
1] Oslo Norsmen 14-2
On a roll, there are only 4 teams that can really give them a run and they have played them all.
2] Salamanca Spicy Tofu 13-3
Stallions and Assassins can't beat the Tofu. They will win out.
3] Amsterdam Red Lights 12-4 (786 points scored)
Three tough games left, but they should be able to win out. Time to start playing playoff football for the Red Lights. Three way tie for third, have to go to the second tie breaker of Points scored. the Red lights have it at this point. (Beat AMD, lost to Dublin)
4] Dublin Shamrocks 12-4 (719 points)
Anticipate wins over the Assassins and Pirates, should win out. (Beat ARL, lost to AMD)
5] Amsterdam Magic Dragons 12-4 (525 points scored)
AMD are a great team, but they are hard to figure. sometimes they perform much better then other days. They are in the three way tie with a Win over Dublin, and a loss to ARL. They still need to beat Bastone and Tulsa to stay here, but I think they will.
6] Bastogne Bastards 11-5 W/L to Oslo and AMD
7] Tulsa Doom 11-5 W/L to Oslo and AMD
Tulsa and the Bastards are each in a rough spot with Oslo and AMD coming up yet this season. It's going to cost them a couple spots in the ranking and they are going to have to settle for a Jumbotron game this year.
8] Barcelona Assassins 9-7 W/L to ARL, Dublin, and Tufu
The toughest remaining schedule will have the assasins diving to the 8th spot by the time the playoffs start.
Out: Madrid Pirates 9-7 W/L to Dublin and ARL
Unless the Pirates can beat Dublin or ARL, it is going to come down to a loss to the Assasins that will place the Pirates on the outside looking in.
Out: Stuttgart Stallions 8-8 W/L to ARL and Tofu
Stallions had a nice run, but 8-8 wont do it this season. Look out for them next year they are a pretty tough team that the Red Lights will not be overlooking in their upcoming game.
