Sorry about not getting Game #12 Alpha reports done but I fly out early Friday morning to Dallas to help a friend move back to Virginia. It took us 2 days to drive back and I am exhausted.

So enough of my apologies, lets move onto the most important week of the current season. The playoff picture is shaping up nicely and teams are starting to fall into their spots. This week features 1 huge game and a couple playoff-implicating games.

Berlin Devine Right vs Cocaine Cowboys

*****GAME OF THE WEEK*****
Both teams are 12-0 and the Cowboys are coming off 2 games against the 2 worst teams in the league. The Right has coasted all season long without 1 scare. The Cowboys have only had 1 scare, and that was against the Bears. The winner of this game gets home field throughout the playoffs, and the winner doesn’t have to face the Bears in the 2nd round. So who really wins in this game? Both teams may be trying to lose this game because facing the Bears is extremely scary. This game features the 2 best running teams in the league and I expect both teams to fully keep that the plan in this game. Ball control is the name of this game. The Cowboys passing game isn’t very good so if they get down early they will be in big trouble. BDR needs to score early and often forcing the Cowboys into passing situations. Most people think this game will be close, but I think BDRs defense is suffocating against the run so I don’t expect Hanel to get going. The Cowboys feature a ferocious pass rush that is constantly in the oppositions face. They lead the league with 142 sacks and the Souls are 2nd with 72. BDR has the best O-Line in the league and that will stop the pass rush. Not to mention with HB Watters rushing the DEs won’t be much of a factor. The score will be closer then the game really is, but BDR wins easily.

Right 34 – Cowboys 24

South Sydney Rabid Rabbitohs vs Atlantis Lost Souls

This game is going to be a blow as soon as the lifeless Rabbits take the field. The Souls have 2 losses this season and has 3 games out of 4 against non-playoff teams. The match up in game #15 against the Pack will be huge. Even if they lose that game, they have all but locked up that #3 playoff seed. It will be impossible to lose to any of the 3 other teams on their schedule.

Rabbits 9 – Souls 76

Blood Gulch Pumas vs Bundaberg Drop Bears

The Pumas will most likely finish 9-7 and look like they will be playing the loser of the BDR vs Cowboys game. This week they draw the very talented Bears. One of those 2 losses the Pumas have coming is this game. The Bears are just too good and are extremely focused. The Bears will have 3 crap games left after this one so this is their real last game to tune up their offense and defense before the post season. The Razamanaz may give the Bears a game, but they have too many losses and their morale won’t be very high. The Bears HB Head will pick a part that Pumas defense opening up the passing lanes for Fly Boy. Bears will be up big at half and coast the rest of the game.

Pumas 13 – Bears 56

Rekohu Raptors vs Phoenix Eagles

Can the Raptors really finish the season at 11-5? They have 2 games left against the Cowboys (game #14) and Right (game #16) that are very losable. The team has lost its luster now after being defeated by the Pack, Souls, and Bears (last game). If they lose 1 more game and the Pack win out the Raptors will be the #6 seed with a match up against the Souls in round 1. The Raptors were the #3 seed last season and have fallen back to the pack after being the favorite to win it all this season. The Eagles have lost all hope for the post season with some really bad losses to the Kings and Panthers. They are just playing out their schedule with an eye on season 8. They will probably try some things in game through out the rest of the season. In this game, they don’t stand a chance unless the Cowboys or Right lend them some players. This game stays “somewhat” close thanks to the lethal combo of Breadwinner to Perkins.

Raptors 44 – Eagles 24

Williamsburg Colonials vs Solomon Islands Pack

The Pack draws a bye week in their pursuit of that #5 playoff seed. The Pack have a key match up against the Souls in week #15 that could net them a home playoff game if they can get some luck. Most likely that game won’t make a difference since the Raptors are tumbling at the moment. The Pack are the 3rd hottest team right now and could really put some fear in the Bears if they can jump the Raptors for that 5th playoff spot.

Colonials 14 – Pack 38

Redcliff Razamanaz vs Seattle Panthers

The winner of this game will have the leg up for that #8 playoff spot. Both team have 1 losable game left on the schedule after this so the other team will most likely be eliminated with a loss. The Panthers are the new kids in AA and the Raz are an original team. The Raz feature a studly HB in George that hasn’t been able to carry the team to some wins. The Raz have some losses that they will regret having and this game will be the dagger that killed them if they lose. The Raz owner (george96) has the respect of his team but he needs to remember that this is a game and a business and its time for some upgrades if they want to be a legit contender. This game is tough to call, but I think the Panthers defense lead by Butkus will stop George in his tracks. The Panthers are an up and coming team and they will try to make a mark on the league and they start with this game. Sorry Razamanaz, but your seasons ends after this game.

Raz 20 – Panthers 27

Wellington War Pigs vs Memphis Kings

The Pigs playoff hopes died in their last game against the Panthers. Nothing else to note here.

Pigs 24 – Kings 21

Sandersville WarChickens vs Texas Storm

Yes! The game that everyone is waiting for!!!!! The loser gets certain relegation. The winner faces certain relegation. It’s a win-win for Oceania AA #4. This game will be so unwatchable that TV markets in both Sandersville and Texas will show Heidi instead of televising this game. Both team will play soggy biscuit over the football to determine the winner. Last person to jizz on the football wins the game for his team. Remember, this game is about stamina. So the real question is, who has better stamina? A chicken or a storm?

Hmm….this one is tough.

I think the Storm has more stamina.

Chickens 16 – Storm 17

They are power rankings. If goes by wins. Do I honestly think they are better then the Bears? No. But they are on the 3rd longest winning streak. THey will be #2 if they win this week.

So, you are saying if they beat the crappy Colonials...which they no doubt will.... they will be better then the loser of Right v Cowboys (who will have one loss), Souls (who have one less win in the winning streak and more impressive wins), Bears, and Raptors?

Just does not make sense to me. What are their big wins? Just Raptors? That is the only team of the ones I listed above I can see them being ranking higher then (maybe Bears even though they beat Pack). No way they are better then Cowboys, Right, or Souls.

May i suggest that our name be reffered to as its proper term, the Drop Bears. I in no way, associate my team with ordinary bears.

The power rankings are similar to NCAA rankings or ESPN rankings. If you lose, you drop. It has no bearing on whos better, but only on who's playing better longer.

Good Rankings, but I am also glad that we have a playoff system, unlike the NCAA's, lol!
