watch out, the west is starting to take shape as our power week continues. real good games across the board ...

Houston Toros VS SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL ... Houston's on a roll with the longest win streak in the west, but they're in the meat of their schedule with big games still coming. 10W in a row can just that quickly turn into 2L if the Toros stop improving and need to take this one seriously. the GROWL are visiting Houston with only two losses so far, but those two came against teams that Houston beat convincingly. that doesnt seem to matter to the GROWL who are expecting to come away tomorrow with another win. as a team that can grind a game down to one posession i can see it happening. my team so no prediction.

Philadelphia Marauders II VS Fremont Warriors ... game of the week! this is really going to tell a lot about these two teams as they head down the home stretch. Philly's plowing through everyone right now but have their 3 game stretch starting this week. after a shaky start on defense, i think this is the area that Pilly's most improved on and have their chance to prove it against a very strong team. Fremont's a streaky team as i've said and had maybe their worst game ever against Houston last week. Fremont needs to bounce back strong to avoid consecutive losses and keep their position on the top. was last game a fluke or is Fremont in trouble when they have to play teams bigger than they are? i think Fremont's too good to stay down but we'll see this week. there's no reason to pick against Philly though. 37-31 Philly.

San Francisco Webzoners VS LaCrosse RiverRats ... San Francisco keeps climbing back up the charts and if they show up in these next two games they've locked up atleast the 3 spot. SF's got the levels and coaching to do whatever they want and should flex that dominance this week. LaCrosse has come up short against the bigger teams this season and i think this will turn out similarly. that's ok however, as LaCrosse needs to learn from this game and apply that to their following three games - that's where their playoff fate will be decided. i'm not counting LaCrosse out because it's very possible to steal this game but i dont see it happening. 42-13 SF.

Milwaukee Fire VS Flappin' Skunk Farmers ... Fire have this week off before a tune-up game leading into their brutal final 3. Fire by 100+

N'awlins Voodoo VS Fort Sam Houston Rangers ... N'awlins by 100+

Farkistan Demons VS Philadelphia Fighters ... in itsself this looks like a really good matchup between teams that are going to miss the playoffs and BBB3 rivals. Farkistan's played respectable ball so far and are riding a two game win streak coming into this one. Philly's on a tough losing streak but with a light schedule to finish the season, if Philly can get things together they can put together a nice streak themselves. i think Philly's going to feel froggy in this one and leap into close win. 47-38 Philly.

Death Valley Devils VS Appalachian Mountaineers ... another good looking matchup this week between two teams that are trying to steal a late playoff spot. DVD just doesnt have the levels to win against the top most teams but that hasnt stopped them from playing above their heads and keeping competitive even in the losses. if they can do it again this week DVD might sneak themselves into the playoffs with an easier finishing schedule. Appalachian's one to watch out for next season because barring some big upsets they're out of the playoff hunt, but they're not done yet. App figured it out late and are a little short on levels to keep up with the biggest opponents but they can prove they're playing up to their potential this week. i think DVD's fighting for more here. 27-21 DVD.

Chinese Bandits VS Bayou Bengals ... the Bandits are going to finish with 4 wins this season and they'll get #3 this week. Chinese by 100+.

Awesome write up as always Scoot.

Should be some good games tomorrow. Houston vs Georgia or SF vs LaCrosse would be games of the week normally but there are so many good games tomorrow it is tough to single one out as game of the week.

Philly and Fremont should be epic.

thanks bud. there are 4 games that could easily go either way, 5 if san francisco comes out flat. this should be a week filled with very competitive games from top to bottom.

Well thanks for picking us but we know the Mountaineers from last season and they are a tough team. We are going to have to catch alot of breaks to beat them.

I am really looking forward to the game vs. the Growl today, they have really proven how tough they are and can take down anybody. Philly II seems to be flying under the radar a tad, don't here much from them, I think are content to let people talk about their own teams and maybe forget how powerful they are, it is very possible they are the best team in the West, they are damn good and have had very convincing wins against tough opponents. For that reason, I think they get past Fremont here.

I don't know why people keep saying that Fremont keeps posting how good they are? I've really only been the one on here, that I can see, that has said anything.

if you mean hardcore's post hutch, i think he was just pointing out how under the radar philly's been all season. the fire are another that nobody's talking about despite being 10-2. granted the fire have the toughest remaining schedule of the leading teams but they've played really well without a lot of fan fare.

GG mate, a nail biter for sure. Those kind of games can go either way with just any hiccup in the sim.
