Rk- Team---record---Last ranking---next game---write up

---A class by themselves---
#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---(11-0)---(1)---#8 The Frozen Tundra---Like the Pats of '07, I expect this team to make it to the Super Bowl undefeated. In fact, that game may be their next real test.

---The contenders---

#2 Booty Bay Bandits---(9-2)---(3)---#14 Stillwater Cowboys---Huge win against the Quakes. Not just because they won, but because they dominated the game!
#3 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---(9-2)---(2)---#5 Halifax Knights---No time to recover from the Booty Bay Bandit beat down as they face a desperate bunch of Knights looking to recover their mo-jo.

---Position means everything---

#4 Flin Flon Flyers---(7-4)---(6)---#9 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---Season saving win against the Knights. Now, with the Pies looming next week, they can't afford to slip up here.
#5 Halifax Knights---(7-4)---(4)---#3 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---Suddenly a 7-game winning streak has turned into a 2-game losing streak with the angry Quakes up next. With the Bandits still to come, this game might cost them a home playoff game.
#6 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---(7-4)---(5)---#15 Canadian Bacon---Week two of a two week lay off. Get some sun, have a drink, enjoy your stay.

---The playoff fight is on---

#7 Prince Rupert Catsharks---(5-6)---(8)---#12 St. Clair Ice Hawks---The worst of their schedule is behind them so their record is a bit misleading. A loss against their ol' buds from the BBB#5 pushes them to the brink of elimination.
#8 The Frozen Tundra---(6-5)---(10)---#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---Two huge wins in a row have me drinking the Tundra Kool-aid. Or at least I was, before this week's inevitable loss to the immortals.
#9 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---(6-5)---(7)---#4 Flin Flon Flyers---Tough loss to the Tundra leaves them on the outside looking in. Now, they need an inspired effort against a good Flyer team. Going 6-6 might mean an early golf season for these guys.
#10 Moncton Machine---(7-4)---(9)---#13 Quahog Blumpkins---Even at 7-4 I am not convinced. They have some huge hurdles to climb the last 4 weeks of the season.

---Bottom Feeders---

#11 New Amsterdam Chronic---(4-7)---(11)---#16 West Side Hellcats---Losses to St. Clair and Moncton have them kicking themselves. I just don't see them overcoming the 7 losses to get into the playoffs.
#12 St. Clair Ice Hawks---(4-7)---(13)---#7 Prince Rupert Catsharks---Nice win against an old nemesis has them feeling good. They may realize, however, that sea food doesn't agree with them.
#13 Quahog Blumpkins---(2-9)---(12)---#10 Moncton Machine---Even though they are close, I can't put them in the last category. They have two wins left on their schedule and will be with us next season.

---Fighting Relegation---

#14 Stillwater Cowboys---(2-9)---(14)---#2 Booty Bay Bandits---They have become the third bye-team of the A#3.
#15 Canadian Bacon---(1-10)---(15)---#6 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---How bad must the Mounties be. Good Lord!
#16 West Side Hellcats---(0-11)---(16)---#11 New Amsterdam Chronic---Countdown to 16 at T-5.

Game of the week:
#5 Halifax Knights (7-4) vs. #3 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (9-2)

Tundra have been playing very well and some real solid players. Going over them I like what they have, now to gameplan.
