sorry for not posting the rankings the last two weeks - life has been extremely busy lately, it was even hard to find the time to put up a decent gameplan for my team against Copenhagen...

Alpha Rankings for Week 12

1 (1).... Valletta Vikings (11-0)
2 (2).... Geneva Plague (10-1)
3 (3).... Austrian Eagles (10-1)
4 (4).... New Orleans Bayou Bengals (9-2)
5 (5).... Glasgow Bravehearts (7-4)
6 (6).... Copenhagen VooDoo (8-3)
7 (10).. Rome Legion (7-4)
8 (7).... dax atlantique storms (6-5)
9 (9).... Stockholm Cows (5-6)
10 (8).... South Yorkshire Aftershocks (5-6)
11 (11).. Berlin Blaze (4-7)
12 (12).. St. Petersburg Knights (3-8)
13 (13).. Capri Elites (2-9)
14 (14).. Madrid Strikers (1-10)
15 (15).. Marseille Hitmen (2-9)
16 (16).. Leipzig Lava Flow (0-11)

Copenhagen has been the biggest surprise in the league so far, they had a shot at hosting a playoff game but got humiliated last week by the Eagles - honestly, I never ever expected this game to be that lopsided! they'll make the playoffs but they'll have to be road warriors. Rome somehow has turned their season around and has shown good football over the last few weeks - looks like they will make the playoffs after a so-so start to the season. South Yorkshire, on the other hand, has turned from hot to cold, they're postseason hopes took a big hit lately. Glasgow has also impressed me recently, I knew that they were better than their 1-4 record at the start of the season but they look like a serious contender now!

Alpha Games of the Week

#1 Valletta Vikings (11-0) vs. #5 Glasgow Bravehearts (7-4)
Hands down, Glasgow is the last team that can deny the Vikings achieving a perfect regular season. The Scots are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and nobody will want to face them in the postseason.
The Vikings will have their hands full with the Bravehearts, should be a great game to watch!

My prediction: Valletta by 10

#10 South Yorkshire Aftershocks (5-6) vs. #7 Rome Legion (7-4)
Winning this game is fundamental to both teams' playoff hopes. The Aftershocks slipped big after starting hot, Rome seems to have turned the tide after starting poorly. Looking at the last few weeks I'll go with the Legion, they played a decent game against Valletta and beat the Storms - they have the momentum on their side and should keep rolling.

My prediction: Rome by 14

Other Alpha Games (predicted winners are in bold)
Storms vs. Lava Flow
Hitmen vs. Eagles
Knights vs. Blaze
VooDoo vs. Plague
Strikers vs. Cows
Elites vs. Bengals

10 point loss prediction, it'll make a good motivational target for us. For some reason I think we'll take this, no real evidence to support the idea but just like the matchups and feel I get from all the scouting done. Counting on our DC for a big game though.

Go Glasgow! Knock the Vikings off so we can get closer to taking the undefeated title.

I told everyone at the begining of the year that Glasgow was the best 1-4 team ever LOL. They are really good and have good coaching staff, But so do the Vikings. I think the Vikings handle their buisness by 14... But in a tougher game then Valletta expects where the owner will pull his hair out a couple of times!

I'm expecting to pull at least two hairs out

i will be glad when Yakini and the Eagles get moved to WEA3 so we can get some decent predictions again. You don't realize how nice these are until you get in a league with little or no activity in the league forum.

GG Valetta, almost had to get down on my knees and beg forgiveness from the team there after I entered our intended red zone settings in my own teams AI by mistake. Almost ended very badly for us.

DUDE! This is going to be the most interesting Final 4 games I have ever seen! WOW! Great games and this will decide the seeding.... I still think Valleta walks through the final 4 though and keeps the #1 spot!

Think we'd like to avoid the Bengals here first round if possible but would favour us against the other home teams. Got to finish off the season first though.
