Rk- Team---record---Last ranking---next game---write up

---A class by themselves---
#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---(10-0)---(1)---#8 Prince Rupert Catsharks---The Pies' offense just isn't fair. They have league MVP candidates at all three skill positions!

---The contenders---

#2 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---(9-1)---(2)---#3 Booty Bay Bandits---Now, things get interesting. If things come down to chemistry, the Quakes might be in trouble.
#3 Booty Bay Bandits---(8-2)---(3)---#2 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---The winner of this game takes the inside track to promotion as they wouldn't have to play the Pies for one extra round.

---Position means everything---

#4 Halifax Knights---(7-3)---(4)---#6 Flin Flon Flyers---Unbelievable! The Knights have no idea who hit them or from where. If they can't regroup quickly, the Flyers are looking for redemption through this game.
#5 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---(6-4)---(6)---#16 West Side Hellcats---The only question is, "will they win by 2 digits or 3".
#6 Flin Flon Flyers---(6-4)---(5)---#4 Halifax Knights---The Flyers have to hope Dr. Jekyll shows up this week. An appearance from Mr. Hyde might mean moving down a category.
#7 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---(6-4)---(7)---#10 The Frozen Tundra---Tough, tough loss to the Sharks last week. After what the Tundra did to Halifax, there is a lot to be concerned about if you are a Punch fan.

---The playoff fight begins---

#8 Prince Rupert Catsharks---(5-5)---(8)---#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---Season saving win against the Punch last week. No other way to put it. Remember, these guys don't get their two automatic wins until the last two games of the season.
#9 Moncton Machine---(6-4)---(9)---#15 Canadian Bacon---This is one of those automatic wins I was referring to. Moncton should enjoy it as there is a tough road ahead.
#10 The Frozen Tundra---(5-5)---(11)---#7 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---The biggest win/upset of the season in Canadian A#3! They now stand on the edge of playoff conversation. A loss here, though, and it all fades away.

---Bottom Feeders---

#11 New Amsterdam Chronic---(3-7)---(10)---#14 Stillwater Cowboys---These guys look pretty good against the other bottom feeders, but I'm afraid it's a bit like being the fastest turtle.
#12 Quahog Blumpkins---(2-8)---(12)---#13 St. Clair Ice Hawks---Now this is a team the Blumpies know how to beat.
#13 St. Clair Ice Hawks---(3-7)---(14)---#12 Quahog Blumpkins---Pay back can be a bee-atch! Last season came to an end for the Hawks versus Quahog.

---Fighting Relegation---

#14 Stillwater Cowboys---(2-8)---(13)---#11 New Amsterdam Chronic---The press is blaming the Cowboys struggles on the fact that their qb went to Cabo right before the season with his famous (hot) girlfriend. They are hoping for a little more focus from him next year.
#15 Canadian Bacon---(1-9)---(15)---#9 Moncton Machine---You got punked by the Ice Hakws. There really isn't much else to say here.
#16 West Side Hellcats---(0-10)---(16)---#5 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---Countdown to 16 at T-6.

Game of the week:
#2 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (9-1) vs. #3 Booty Bay Bandits (8-2)

very good stuff here, thanks

NAC still has to face 4 of the bottom feeders and our rival BBB, hopefully we can pull an upset on BBB and finish at .500

If the Quakes / BBB finish 2/3 (as seems likely), wouldn't they play each other again before facing the Pies anyway? 3/4 means avoiding them for another round.

I am excited for this week, I think we will see a running attach for the first time since we played the Punch.

Are you trying to psych me into putting a passing O in there? Or maybe you figure it will psych me into putting a passing O in there, so you will run a passing D, and I know that, so I'll run the ball? Or maybe you know I know you'll know I'll think like that, so I should pass after all? Or maybe you were just throwing it out there so I would type something here that would give away my plan? Oh God, have I said too much already?

I'm picking the Quakes because the real team is only about 15 mins from my house.

So i looked it up. We have given up a net of -122 yards rushing this year

Toranto -58
Halifax -10
Montreal 21.5
Chronic -16
St Clair 9.5
Moncton -18
Seville 25 (highest)
Hellcats -67.5
Bacon -9.5
Blumpkins -35

3 rushing TDS given up

So...maybe you wont try to run lol

Actually no. Our teams are actually pretty evenly matched. You beat us in a scrimmage at the end of last season by a point. I figured it was a toss up any time we play.

yep, it will be a good game vs the west assuming we make it out of the east. Still too early to assume that though.

Losing this game will shame the Blumpkin nation! It would mean that we went 0-3 against the BBB5 EC teams that we dominated for 2 seasons (of course I'm not counting last season against PR since they cheated, twice!). I guess it's time to pull out the extra special gameplan! Good luck Pat! May the best team win!
