Game of the Week:
Sierra Leone Syndicate (9-1) vs. Warriors of Anubis (9-1)

Game of the week became a little interesting this week with the announcement that WoA will be dissolving and going slowbuild after this season. This could have positive effects on the team's play for the rest of the year. For one the entire roster is now playing for a new contract for next year, plus they're not going to want to leave on a bad note. Sierra Leone might have the best roster of any of the expansion teams up here. The matchup to watch this week is the running game when the Syndicate is on offense. TSLS has the best run offense and WoA are the best at defending the run. Look for WoA to lose their first game after announcing that they won't be coming back after next season.
Syndicate 34 - WoA 27

Freetown Palookas vs. Atlantic Blue Jays
Atlantic really doesn't stand a chance against the Palookas attack this season and look for the Palookas to start taking out the Syndicate loss on the rest of their opponents for the rest of the regular season, just ask Burundi.
Freetown 80 - Atlantic 17

Band of Brothers vs. Madagascar Black Mambas
Madagascar finally got the Congo Lion monkey off their back (or maybe it was just a lion?). There will be another 2 loss team after this week, because everyone knows there are no ties in GLB, and Band of Brothers should be looking to take advantage (and hope I'm right and its WoA).
BoB 35 - Black Mambas 20

Red Sea Wave vs. African Fire
Nobody has been able to stop the Wave's passing attack this season, just keep up with it. Does anyone think the Fire will be able to do either? Not me.
RSW 93 - Fire 24

Congo Lions vs. Zulu Death Warrios
Zulu is finally starting to catch fire and had a tough one point loss last week to WoA. Congo is fighting for a playoff spot and is going to have to pull off an upset soon if they want to make it in. Congo has had trouble stopping the pass this season, but Zulu hasn't had a good passing game until the WoA game. It might be closer than some people think, but no upset tomorrow.
Congo 24 - Zulu 34

Morocco Loco Siroccos vs. Congo NGL
Woohoo another win for me!!!
Morocco 165 - Congo 0

Kilimajaro Kamikaze vs. Carthaginian War Elephants
Moving on...
Carthage 172 - Kili 10

Cote d'Ivory Rebels vs. Burundi Hutu
If Burundi loses this one you can all but count them out of the playoffs this year. The Rebels have a dominant defense at times, but a pretty balanced offense. Burundi is a good team all around, but isn't great in any one area. The game is also important for the Rebels playoff chances, they can't really afford to lose any close ones at this point either. I think the Rebel's D will show up tomorrow though.
Rebels 30 - Burundi 16

Actually I wasnt talking about us. The most impressive roster imo that just moved up this season is SoA. Both those teams did quite a bit of recruiting and did some major upgrading but I give the edge to SoA.

I think he is only talking about the Lion Conference when he mentions things like that in this thread.

Good game Sierra Leone, our offense got some nice drives together but we just kept stalling in the redzone. If we could have turned one of those early field goals into a touchdown it might have been a different game. Congratulations on the #1 seed that I'm sure will be yours now.

Thank you EA. I agree you were a play or two away from a very different outcome, no question. GL the rest of the way guys.
