Normaly, OI don't do a review after game 10, but the issue in the East deems it necessary.

Western Conference Standings
1 North By Gawd Texas Tornado Humpers 10-0-0 W10
NBGTTH continues to roll with the Sonics actually putting up an unecpected struggle, but the next three games should be fairly easy. As it looks now, the LA Majors and Jacktown may put up a fight as they surge with San Jose fading fast.

2 Jacktown Smackdown 8-2-0 W8
Jacktown continues to make their case to hold onto the #2 playoff seed by winning the last two games as expected as they continue to slam the door shut after each game. They'll be on an emotional high and should have a top 4 seed wrapped up by the time they play NBGTTH and Fresno to close out the season to determin if it's seed #3 or #4.

3 Pontiac War Kittens 8-2-0 W3
The War Kittens continue to purr through the second part of their schedule, but they can expect an old fashioned alley cat fight against Reno, Jacktown, and Fresno, which they have still have to close out on. To protect that top 4 playoff seed, they'll have to beat either Fresno or Jacktown.

4 Fresno Fire 8-2-0 L1
Whoa whoa whoa WHOA ! Back up the truck. Did Fresno stumble against the Mavericks? That's an upset for sure which put Fresno in trouble of hanging onto the #4 seed since they the still need to play the War Kittens and Jacktown, two teams that have been surging. They have to win one of those two games to secure a top 4 seed and I'd be willing to bet, nobody expected Fresno to be at #4 at this point.

5 Los Angeles Majors 7-3-0 W3
They look good at 7-3 thanks to two gift wins against CPU teams, but that pretty 7-3 record should disappear quickly against Jacktown, NBGTTH, San Jose, and the Mavericks. If they want to ensure a playoff spot, they need to win at least 1 of those games, if not, they'll be rolling the dice with everything riding on the table.

6 Omaha Mavericks 7-3-0 W1
An upset win over Fresno sent this team into high gear and should be the spark they need to close out the season strong. The win over Fresno essentially wrapped up thier playoff spot.

7 Olympia Dollar Ninety Nines 6-4-0 W3
No surpises with the last two wins to get them comfortably above .500, but now they need to earn the playoff spot by playing Jacktown, NBGTTH, and San Jose in a row. Survive that stretch 2-1 and they're in good shape, 1-2 and they'll be cutting it close, and if they drop all three, good night Irene.

8 D.C. Sonics 5-5-0 W1
Looks like the Sonics got serious and laid on the brakes hard to stop the losing streak and put up an unexpected struggle against NBGTTH. It's going to be an uphill fight to stay in the playoffs, but they have momentum on thier side right now.

9 Reno Marauders 5-5-0 L1
As long as Reno allows this roller coaster to continue, they miss the playoffs by "that much."

10 San Jose Chupacabra 4-6-0 L3
The losing streack continues, but as long as the log jam at 5-5 holds, they still have an outside chance.

11 Cincinnati Stallions CPU 2-8-0 L3
Hooray for extending the losing streak.

12 Allen Zephyrs CPU 2-8-0 L2
USA AA West > Default Bort Team

13 The Militia Minute Men 2-8-0 W1
They might actually get 5, maybe 6 wins before its all said and done. Regardless, season 7 is over regarding the playoffs, so now they're just avoiding relegation.

14 Bay Area Bastards 1-9-0 L1
Candyman picked up the team to salvage it. One suggestion though... dump the high level CPU players and sign all L1 CPUs. The money you save you can put into the stadium. Keep the logo though, it's awesome.

15 Riders On The Storm 1-9-0 L7
Getting pummeled isn't any fun. Don't get me wrong, I've been in your shoes in seaon 4. Just keep at it and things will start getting better.

16 Omaha Invaders 0-10-0 L19
Again, at least the CPU players are all gone and the 100+ point blow outs have stopped, so things are moving in the right direction.

Eastern Conference Standings
1 Eleven Wise Monkeys 10-0-0 W10
They handled the NY Warriors as expected, but had to slug it out with Louisville and depended on some long ass FGs to pull it out. With Hell Fire Alley behind them and the #1 seed all but locked up, it'll be interesting to see what Bortsville will do in it's last game.

2 American Freedom 8-2-0 W3
Freedom finds itself in a surprising postion, sitting with the #2 seed, which they weren't expecting after dropping two straight against the Nighthawks and the Monkeys. It looks like they are back in full stride again and closing the doors hard on teams to make sure that they don't slip and lose the advantage they have right now. Since points scored are likely coming into affect here, you can expect Freedom to keep the boilers at full steam to close out the season since they'll have no interference from Hell Fire Alley.

3 New York Warriors 8-2-0 W1
NY is also clear of Hell Fire Alley but they're going to need some unlikely help to topple Freedom from the #2 spot since points won't do it, Freedom has the head to head win after their tour through Hell Fire Alley. Staying in the top 4 isn't the issue, but jostling for the round 2 and possibly round three home playoff spots are at stake. So that lucritive playoff money is the driving force for them to close out the season hard on the point spreads.

4 Louisville Nighthawks 8-2-0 L1
Louisville finds itself looking up up after falling in a hard fight against the Monkeys, are forced below the Warriors in rankming due to a head to head loss and probably losing the points spread to Freedom. Now that the Monkey's are done, they have cleared Hell Fire Alley and need a miraclulas upset from an unlikely team over the Warriors and for Freedom to get overly conservative with it's play calling to lose the point spread if they want deep playoff games at home.

5 San Francisco Demons 8-2-0 W2
The Demons, to me, are the surprise 8-2 team that's right in the thick of it for getting a top 4 playoff seed. Oh wait, they haven't even touched Hell Fire Alley yet, wich accounts for 5 of it's last 6 games. They'll need to upset at least two of those teams to effectively crack into the top 4, but I just don't see that happening. In fact, I think they'll just barely hang on to staying in the playoffs. I would like to see them prove me wrong but cracking the top 4 would litterally throw the East into chaos.

6 Anonymous Assassins 6-4-0 L3
The assasins continue to stroll through Reality Street known as Hell Fire Alley and they're droping in the rankings like a rock in water. They did manage to fight the Warriors and make them work for the win, but I expect them them to just get pounded by the Monkeys and Nighthawks and that should put them at .500, which would put them on the bubble of staying in the playoffs altogether. They'll need to close out 3-1 after the Monkeys to make sure they stay in the playoffs and if not, they'll need to depend on a combination of wins, help, and point spreads to make it happen.

7 Megatropolis Tigers 6-4-0 W5
The Tigers continue to edge out the wins in the close games. Most recently pulling off an upset over Bortsville and then toppling the Jaguars in an uncomfortably low scoring game. They're not out of the woods yet by a long shot though since they still have to face off against Tri-Cities, Shockers, and a dreadful closing agaist the second half of Hell Fire Alley. They litterally need to close out the season 3-3 to stay in the playoffs and if not, they're probably out.

8 Bristol Bullets 6-4-0 W2
Bristol is still seething from getting worked over through Hell Fire Alley and since then, they've been kicking ass and taking numbers while creeping up the rankings, craking the top 8, but they're not stopping there folks. Expect them to finish 5th or 6th once the regular season is over.

9 Kentucky Jaguars 6-4-0 L1
The Jaguars' flirtation with the playoff hunt is about to come to an abrupt end with tough games against Tri-cities and the Shockers, then through the nightmare of Hell Fire Alley.

10 Bortsville Mystery Nerf 6-4-0 W1
Bortsville still has Hell Fire Alley to face as well, but if they can beat the Shockers, they'll at least give themselves a chance to back into the playoffs with 5 game losing streak. If they can upset Bristol, they'll most likely sneak in without anyone noticing.

11 Tri-Cities Fever 3-7-0 L2
Tri-Cities is in trouble after getting upset by Bortsville. If they have any chance at making the playoffs, they'll have to run the table, no question about it, but if they drop 2 games, it's all over.

12 Home Town Shockers 3-7-0 L1
Read Tri-cities, except they lost to the Demons.

13 French Lick Dirty Whorns 2-8-0 L4
The playoffs are already gone, but they've at least been keeping games close, until now. Hell Fire Alley is next.

14 Fort Worth Warriors 2-8-0 L3
They're in the middle of Hell Fire Alley, so the playoffs are long gone, they're under dogs against the Panthers, but might manage another win over French Lick.

15 Space Coast Storm Surge CPU 2-8-0 W1
The won a 2nd game. Wait, wat?

16 Compton Panthers 0-10-0 L13
Llecarud, the time out corner is over there. 10 minutes in the corner for losing to the Storm Surge.

We thought we'd have fun with it so we made a little shuffle in the lineup and gameplan. I thought we'd at least score though. Oh well.

Although I see you saying that, I don't trust it. On paper, you guys are better than us. You guys have not played a CPU team. We have twice. So actually, our record of 6-4 is probably a bit inflated. I guess we will see soon. I can see your team finishing at 8-8 if you beat us or 7-9 if you don't. I see all of your other games other than American as very winnable. You guys can definitely beat Megatropolis if you don't let your pride rule you. That is why we lost to them. I let my pride get the best of me instead of gameplanning them to stop them. I guess that is what I get and therefore will be giving up the D-coordinator role. I am bringing in someone else to do that job.

Bottom line, you guys need to get some coordinators that can help your team. You have a good team and you will do well the rest of the season. Don't give up on the team as I think you guys will get to that 7-9 record.
