dont look now but things are starting to get really interesting. some of the biggest matchups are happening in the next couple of weeks and teams with weaker remaining schedules are looking to go on big runs.
Houston Toros VS Philadelphia Fighters ... the Toros have really become one of the stronger teams and have run through their shedule so far. they still have most of their bigger games still on the schedule though so things will only get more difficult. Philly on the other hand has had a rough go this season and still have a very hard set of games left, starting this week with a back to back against Houston and the Marauders. my team so no prediction.
Fremont Warriors VS SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL ... game of the week right here folks. Fremont looks like they've got it figured out and their game keeps getting better each week. the GROWL havent had a bad game yet this season and have put themselves tied on top of the leaderboard. contrasting styles coming in, the GROWL arent very flashy but they're consistant with big players at key positions, while Fremont has a more rounded squad and appears to play more a streaky up tempo game. i think Fremont is slightly stronger here if they play their best game and i'm sure GROWL likes it when i pick against them lol. 35-31 Fremont.
Philadelphia Marauders II VS Flappin' Skunk Farmers ... Philly has a couple more tune-up games before a mean 3 game stretch to fine tune their tactics and this one wont be close. Philly by 100+
San Francisco Webzoners VS Appalachian Mountaineers ... SF's back on track and moving back up the rankings, very possibly able to run the table from here on out and regain homefield advantage in the playoffs. Appalachian got some of the kinks worked out and has become a much stronger team of late but just found out against Fremont that some teams are just plain bigger. I see that happening again here as the 'Zoners flex their muscle. 51-20 SF.
Milwaukee Fire VS N'awlins Voodoo ... i keep waiting for Milwaukee to come down but they refuse to let their game slip at all, i'm becoming a fan of the way they much like the GROWL play bigger than they appear and keep up with what look like stronger teams. N'awlins scares me in every which way, they can put up a lot of points and play with everybody - this is a team nobody wants to play. they're so one dimensional however it's killing the Voodoo - it's devan or bust, and the defense usually busts. 48-37 Fire.
LaCrosse RiverRats VS Chinese Bandits ... after a quick start, i thought LaCrosse would come into the league with guns blazing, but the RiverRats have been drowning so far. a lot of that can be due to a very ugly schedule for the first half but that's put LaCrosse behind and needing to basically win out to secure a playoff spot. atleast this week they have a gimme against the Bandits. LaCrosse by 60+
Death Valley Devils VS Fort Sam Houston Rangers ... DVD's in a rough spot if they want to compete for the final playoff spot and may come up short if they cant run the table. Sam looks like they've decided to back it up and rebuild which is probably a good idea. DVD by 100+
Farkistan Demons VS Bayou Bengals ... Farkistan's needed a week off to compose themselves and fortunately they've got a couple games to work with. Farkistan by 100+.
