Zeta RPI

Monty Pythons .656
The Cape Town Cubicles .610
The D-League Home For Underprivileged Children .604
Constantinople Romans .563
Sevastopol Wolverines .554
Rome Raiders .544
C-Town Hoodlums .537
Terlingua Javelinas .511
Transylvania Terror .508
The Wheatfield .496
Draguignan Dragons 83 .453
Chernobyl Radionuclides .433
Subotica Scorpions .426
Elancourt Templiers .422
Grodno Titans .400
Columbus Crush .389

Zeta teams play as expected, and the top 3 (Pythons/Cubes/D-L) maintain their separation against the 2nd tier (Romans/Wolverines/Raiders/C-T). Raiders make a game of it against the Pythons (and helped me beat the spread), but the better team won.

A big game between the Wolverines (-3) v. Romans. Very closely matched teams, but neither one able to prove themselves with a big win yet. This game might be a difference maker later in the season. I'll put my 2-1 record on the Wolverines.

I'm also probably not the only one sneaking a peak ahead at the Pythons/D-L game... (where the early numbers favor the Pythons)

Alpha Projections

1 Lisbon Crows 15 1
2 NISSA Dauphins 14 2
3 Chernobyl Meltdowns 14 2
4 Kharkiv Thrashers 12 4
5 Woburn Tanners 12 4
6 Tallaght Outlaws 10 6
7 Black Sea Pirates 9 7
8 Saratov Catrades 9 7
9 Transylvania Impalers 9 7
10 BERLIN RAIDERS 7 9
11 Tskhinvali Rebellion 5 11
12 Sacramento Storm 5 11
13 Fehérvár Enthroners 3 13
14 Bohemian Grove Molechs 2 14
15 Jax Beach B.O.H.I.C.A 1 15
16 International Players 0 16

I'm still using the Lisbon workaround since Elancourt refuses score on anyone

Alpha RPI

NISSA Dauphins .658
Chernobyl Meltdowns .631
Kharkiv Thrashers .606
Black Sea Pirates .584
BERLIN RAIDERS .517
Lisbon Crows .515
Woburn Tanners .511
Tallaght Outlaws .502
Transylvania Impalers .490
Saratov Catrades .479
Tskhinvali Rebellion .474
Fehérvár Enthroners .407
Sacramento Storm .404
Jax Beach B.O.H.I.C.A .397
International Players .361
Bohemian Grove Molechs .360

The projections already expected the Thrashers to lose a few games, but the Pirates jumped the gun and exposed the 1st alpha paper tiger. NISSA reveals the other by "upsetting" Chernobyl (making me 2-0 for the week) and establishing themselves as the clear team to beat. The only surprise was the Impalers' near upset of Lisbon.

Will the Thrashers continue to fall against the Tanners (-24)? That's a pretty big spread, but certainly plausible after seeing them against the Pirates. The other lingering question is Lisbon, whose real season will actually start now, playing 5 playoff teams in their last 7 games.

what other team does the projection have us losing to i wonder?

The Meltdowns are unstoppable in Alpha, we just have to work out our stamina.

Definetly. Getting better each week.

And you´re right on spot, our final stretch is very tough. Still have Black Sea, Woburn, Meltdowns and Nissa ahead. A lot of dot football still to be played.

Tanners and Pirates are no joke. We made slight adjustments to the gameplan for the tanners, and barely won. Compare that to a scrimmage we had 3 hours after tanners with the D-leaguers where we ran the exact same gameplan and beat them by 6 pts.
I think it’s safe to say both divisions have very equal talent levels, and there are no bulletproof teams.
Like to thank the Pirates, Tanners, and D-leaguers for 3 very exciting games. I feel great to go 2-1 honestly. *1 of the wins was a scrimmage as i mentioned.

Wolverines dropped the hammer on Constantinople. And to think Sevastopol was picked as an 8 seed to start the season.
