Well a lot has happened since my last entry for the rankings. Currently there is only one unbeaten team. As much as this sentence should lead up to the current being in first they have been dethroned and knocked down a few steps. The other Niagara team has people looking their way now. The middle of the pack is starting to grow smaller and smaller as we get further into the season. Almost seems that barring a huge remodification of a team that the top 8 will stay that way. please remember this is for fun and i try to offer some advice at least for each team.
16)Thunder bay strikers- well i still think your lucky to have won your first game before you lost your players. normally the other team would be mad to have a scheduling flaw like that but in this case the new england powertecs are just as craptastic as you.
15)SeaCastle DeepOnes- well your one win will be coming up against the strikers near the end of the year. As long as they dont get big players. your team is slowly building, just keep it together for a bit and you can be very good soon. thats in like two to three seasons but you need to be realistic. My favorite thing is that after two more tough games the turtles get to pound the crap out of you in case they lose both. no hard feelings though.
14)Grise Forde Icicles-Well you do have some solid builds on your team but then you have some cpus also. you need to fill out your roster asap or else you will continue to lose and get disgruntled agents. No matter what you tell people it seems like your not trying when there are cpus on your team, go for a lower level agent if neccesary.
13)Winnipeg Washemplae - Your filling up your team nicely just a few more moves and your cpu free. your defense is not to bad, but your offense needs to keep them off the field. you have a possibility of two more wins unfortantly after them your schedule sucks and you can thank the top teams for ruining ticket sales next year.
12)Bosphorus Oftas- You about mid level as far as talent goes and once the cap is raised you could go for broke and try to sneak in the playoffs. but realistically you will be beaten in the first round and still in bbb8 with a lot less money. save moolah and try to go 2-2 in the last four games to help tickets for next year, and hopefully playoffs and a promotion to follow if you continue with your solid builds.
11)Orangetown DarkStars- well you got basically all your wins out of the way already. except for the washempalee, you will need some solid coaching . it can be done though.your offense seems to only score when your opponents suck though, so if you can fix that then the upsets may start.
10)Bad Harbour Hackers- based on common opponents you guys are next. You have a solid team going on a positive note, with your moral maxed everywhere, but you will need help to get into the playoffs and pull an upset, i see three more wins for you guys.
9)Arctic Blubberin' Esquimaux - well i really wanted to put you higher than the waves but i couldnt, your a slow build team that has stuck together for a bit but hasnt made the jump like the current have, maybe the game plan is off or something else, but i dont see a playoff birth in your deck.
8) Toronto Permanent Waves- looks like your pretty much locked in at a 8 seed in the playoffs, unless you can pull and upset later on in the year. also way to pad your stats against the strikers, i almost thought you had a run game but then looked closer.
7)Quebec Bandits - well shortly after your post about picking up free agents your fell from grace very hard. you have one major problem with your team, its not really your players but hopefully you can catch it before things get bad. i am sure others teams scouts have already.
6)Saskatchewan Gigantes- well there is my favorite team. i will be personally changing some things just for your game, once again i am still mad you like to beat us. After this big game you have a realistic chance at only losing two games. Getting a home game for the playoffs is really tough right now for you.
5)oshawa turtles- first off way to go big man, talk shit about nearly every team in the division and prepare yourself to eat your words if you lose again.. on a positive note you have lost to teams that have combined to lose only one game, on a negative side you love the let down in big games.
4)Cape Verde Jacks - well you have quite a solid defense, and love to hold teams down in the scoring department, however the current match up at hand is huge, beat this team and you can get a better playoff spot. if not you will probaly play them in the second round again. can you knock off the other team from niagara, and make everything possibly go up for grabs in the division.
3)Niagara Current- well i have to assume you must be very full after eating all the shit you were talking lately. the hurricanes snuck up on you while you were waiting to visit the other team from niagara.Dont let a close letdown knock you off tracks. your looking at a second round rematch with them and with such a close game it will be a coin toss and luck maybe with you this time.
2)North Vancouver Hurricanes- I know someone who doesnt fear the current. really big win, now things get fun, can you beat the unbeatable and take over the one spot. or will going to niagara for the next big game be to much for you. unfortantly that will really be the only close one till playoffs. dont fall asleep and get suprised by a bad team.
1)Niagara 916ers- well look who is in number one, the other team from niagara, the 86ers as some call them. well enjoy your respect for a bit, you earned it, well not really i guess, you still must battle the other top four. however with the momentum of 8 straight behind you losing will prove to be an upset no matter who against. especially when all your big games are at home. Can you run the table?
