So, how is everyone doing at mid-season?
I cheated in the tables to get around the Lisbon Conspiracy (see Week 7 thread for details) and gave Lisbon a shutout. It will correct itself if Elancourt ever scores on another team.

Romans and Wolverines drop out of the top tier group after playing the worst 2 teams. Next week looks much the same, mostly lopsided games. Except an EEA8 grudge match between the Raiders and Pythons! The projector says the Pythons win 29-12, but I'll take my 0-1 record and pick the Raiders (+17) to make it closer.

Unlike zeta, Chernobyl v. NISSA (+3) is a game with a lot at stake. NISSA's only loss came against a top zeta team, and against the same alpha teams, NISSA has done better. They should pull of the "upset" here.
It's interesting that the Thrashers, with an undefeated record and high RPI, is still projected to lose 3 games. For the interested, the projector has them losing to the Woburn (??), Chernobyl, and NISSA.

It also screws up other teams in the rankings too. From the Lisbon perspective, the projection sees that Lisbon has given up 100% of the points to Elancourt over 8 games, and therefore Lisbon must suck, ignoring how bad Elancourt is. On the flip side, it also gives more strength to the other 7 teams, noting that they gave up 0% of Elancourt's points.
