THIS IS FOR THE PLAYERS PLAYING IN EUROPE AA #1

Thought i was time to take a look at the players who seem to make a big impact on the league (WEU AA#1). Please feel free to post players who have carried your teams through tough battles or players who have stats to show for.

I will nominate three players which i think right now are dominant in this league:

QB JJFlicker: He has off the hook stats and his team is crushing opponents with his passing 1800+ yards and 17 TDs so far, league leader.

RB Mal Brown: i know it is sort of sketchy to nominate players on your own team, but Mal Brown has run down every opponent so far with 1000+ yards (1st) and 9 TDs(2nd) and only 1 fumble.

DE Magnus Samuelsson: Leads the league in tackles, 2nd in sacks plus he has 3FFs and this guy does not have the luxury of playing on a team stuffed with high lvl players, he is definetly the one who is keeping the Berlin Ballers afloat.

Now nominate some more players, im sure there are some who warrants at least a nomination. Discuss the nominations and then we'll decide who is the defensive and offensive MVP og the season.

GO FESTURES!

Guardie Van Guard: Level 15 RG that leads the league with 75 pancakes. With less plays per game than the rest of the guys behind him.

what about my player George Godoshian wide receiver against the ma trolls the 2nd best team in the league i had 14 catches for 264.5 yards and 4 touchdowns i would be leading the league in all stats but i have only played 3 games in this conference and i am still in the top 8 in touchdowns i am having a better season stats wise than any of the wide outs if you include my other stats from this season i am doing way better
i have 636.5 receiving yards this season with 7 touchdowns would be the most in the league if they included stats from other leagues

I'd have to agree that it makes sense to do a 1st team offense and defense at this point, instead of an "MVP" situation.

-George

Maybe your boy will be there at the end of the year, but as of right now you've only had one game over 100 recieving yards in this league.

No offense, and I am sure your receiver is a good build, but most of those yards came on our CB who forgot to change his settings... LOL playing aggressive on relaxed while the team plays man is definitely not a good combo. It was pretty interesting though. You had a good game but I wouldnt twist your arm too hard while trying to pat your own back.
As this conference seems to have about half teams with players at level 10+ while the other half ar about level 8 (makes it pretty hard for them to compete), Im sure that well see you in the playoffs and we can see for certain...

By the way, this thread is a bit silly as everything here is just based on stats. It should just be a thread named "stat leaders" - or you could just look at the list for the conference. No, not sour grapes, as Flicker and CapnCrunch are both mine, but if youre naming MVP candidates, you really need to look alot closer than the statline.

Since we can't actually see these players play....I guess stats is the only measure of success for a player. Granted you could argue that different stats are more important, but stats and stats only is what we have to go off of.

True, but what about the center who has tons in line general and so doesnt make as many pancakes? To me, the CB with the least tackles is the one that gets the nod, not the guy that they throw on all the time. Lots of examples but I agree to your point.

Magnus Samuelson really stood out when I was watching PBP of his team before we played them. That dude is a monster.

Magnus Samuelson should definatly be named defensive MVP, he's playing like a beast and he's not surrounded by high level players.
Becides he is extremely important to his team, and that must be taken into consideration when naming an MVP.

Please notice that i also mentioned stuff like carrieng your teams through tough times.. You know, mbe changing games with a remarkable series of plays.
Dont get into why ppl are chosen to be MVP. Fx, in NFL. A guy like Westbrook does not get as many carries as LT, because he get alot of touches from screens and check-downs. But if you want to be league MVP, it is your rushing stats that counts, but that does not mean Westbrook is not as important as LT.

It is all about stats, thinking otherwise is just silly. But i think other players can get mentioned if they do something extraordinary.

I'd like to nominate an owner, actually.

brady2moss2endzone, owner of the wolverhampton wolves. Lets take a look at why..

1) I have a strong feeling that brady2moss2endzone is the same person as jibjabz and he is using two accounts. He runs his GM'd team the Jayhawks exactly like his owned team the wolverhampton wolves.

2) he leaves people (numerous) off the depth chart on purpose and many times for no reason. When they ask why. he ignores them, leaves them off, and eventually revokes their forum posting privs.

3) he treats ALL of his players like garbage.. does not give them money to train, does not respond to any PMs, does not care if he ruins other's fun.

4) Asks for insanely high trades that he know will never happen such as:

From:
brady2moss2endzone Date Sent:

Trade
Add an active lv1 Human Guard and i will accept (lv1 Human Guard and $85,000) <-- this was from when I was on the wolverhampton wolves and my guard had just hit lvl 2.

when he traded me to his other team.. and account:

Received Trade Offers
From Kansas Jayhawks on 2008-05-11 06:12:24

My Players

Jason Diggs Lv. 7
DEJonathan Cruiser Lv. 7
LBChristian Harris Lv. 5
LBKeith Dawson Lv. 4 LB

For Their Players
Josh Howards Lv. 4 G+ $180000 in cash considerations

This is just to get my one guard off of his team.

5) after I begged for a trade for weeks (for weeks off the depth chart with others).. he gave it to me.. trading me from his owned team to his GM'd team. As soon as I get there I read the forum.. and it was the same.. evryone wanted off his team there as well!

All in all.. a complete waste of time and they enjoy ruining the fun for others.

c'mon mods.. please look into this and PLEASE tell me that he's using two accounts and breaking the rules. It'll be like Indy freeing all the kids at the end of the Temple of Doom.

so uh.. does he win the mvp?

I'm pretty sure that last post has nothing to do with this topic. I think the dude just wanted a place to bitch about an owner.
