It's just tough with all the teams for guys to actually stay committed. Many owners are loosing GMs to their own teams, so its just a trickling effect.

That, and a lot of people are losing interest in their more 'senior' players due to slow leveling and, more relevant, the fact that most of us know so many better ways to build a new player now after all the Borting to the S1-3 guys.

Yeah, I think they are doing things to keep players interested, but they are taking to long

Fantastic...right after they beat us by a TD. I'm so glad that everyone we're going to be fighting for a playoff spot with gets an easy win now.

sorry. You guys did outplay us though, outgaining us by like 200 yards.

We just ran out of agents. A lot of them were leaving, a lot of them were going FA, we had like
13 impending departures. We'll be back next season with some of the same
crew and a few friends looking to rebuild.

We were looking forward to the Montana game, our 'bonus token game'. good luck
to you guys the rest of the way, I really admire how you and Bowdoin have been
able to stick it out despite small stadiums or tough FA market and everything.

Seriously, not to pile on (though I freely admit I am) have you ever heard of end on day 40 contracts. Use them. That way you don't gut and screw over half the league you are playing in.

13 mid season impeding departures means whoever does your signings is a moron.

He doesn't screw anyone...haha, quit complaining and just win games simple enough right? If you cant beat a team, do you belong in the playoffs? I always thought that would be a no. Most of us have been in here long enough, and this happens every year..times are tough sometimes, deal with it He didn't do anything wrong.

We were too Dimmy, thanks again for the GL man.

13 imminent departures is at the end of season. Some are in Afghanistan.
Some are idle. Some said they would be leaving. I'm sure somebody
with your vast intelligence figured that out already. That's
why you made the day40 comment, right? Because you're
smarter than an MIT, Harvard, and Caltech grad combined.

We needed the cash for future years.
You can't sell players at the end of the season.
With your genius, I'm sure you know that too.

Our job is to do what's best for the Pimps.
It's not to do what's best for Buffalo or Dutch Harbor.
Next time you want to give away your gameplan
for the 'good of half the league' in which you play,
let me know.

If you win your games, then it doesn't matter, does it?
With your obvious intelligence, you should have a
decided schematic advantage over every team you play.
You are after all 7-0.
So that should not be a problem either.

Dimmy There is always a place for you with the Grizz man, along with a few others of you at seasons end.

I am not worried about winning games. We will do what we need to do. The fact remains that Las Vegas Criminal Element , Detroit Diablos, Pittsburgh Powerhouse and Buffalo Beasts all took loses to you and by that have a harder schedule than the rest of the conference because you guys either didn't take the time to look ahead 40 days before the season started or gimped out in the middle of it. It doesn't really effect what we are planning to do, but I do think its unfair to those teams and your decision had a negative impact on them.

You job is to do what's best for the Pimps, but I just think it would be nice if you took your collective genius and figured out a way to do it that didn't involve screwing other teams over.

One other note. I am no genius. Hell I am not even that smart. And I guess that would be my point. It doesn't take a genius to figure out a way to stay competetive and do retooling in the off season.

I am SURE you are doing what you think is best, but in my mind it hurts the league. Again though you are playing within the framework of the game so in that regard I believe the game design is more to blame than you are.

It shouldn't allow or should compensate for the fact when a team "guts" mid year. I have no idea how to make this work. Again I am not that smart, but then again I am not getting paid to design the game. The stats get wonky, but that's not as big a deal to me as the wins and loses. It very well could come down to a Buffalo lose to you and some other team beating you once you were a completely different team that decides the playoffs.

To me that isn't fair to those teams. Again though you are working within the system as designed so more power to you. I still don't have to like it.
