5 weeks in to the season and the Lion conference has two undefeated teams left sporting 5-0 records. The teams are more simular than most think, and are proving a point, NFL, College, GLB, it doesnt matter, to be successful you need to run the ball and stop the run, and have a few playmakers do what they are paid to when it counts.

Heading in to week 6, neither team is lighting it with their passing attacks, but are 1 and 2 in rushing yards, and rushing yards allowed! In fact Cape Verde goes a little farther by having not given up a rushing TD yet this season!

We had a minute to speak with the Kings D.C. Randey after there final walk throughs Tuesday morning. "What can I say, our owner gets me the guys I need to run the scheme that is successful, and the players are executing." he continued, "We know what is at stake this season, its our second year in the APL, and we want to make a trip to the ship! If we need to ride the defense and our monster backs then thats what we will continue to do!!"

The Dream and Kings have something else in common, they both have two running backs in the top 10 in the conference in rushing yards and rushing TD's! For the Dream it's been on the shoulders of Eve Wang, last seasons offensive player of the year, who once again is leading the league in rushing yards and make the Dream one of the toughest and most feared opponents in the league!

The Kings brought in RB Train Wreck from the Oceania Pro League, and he has quickly become a force to be wreckoned (no pun intended) with! With his bruising style of running, he is punishing defenders accross the league, and leaving them in his wake on the way to the endzone!

Both teams have there share of playmakers and leaders, Vinny Wang of Angola and Austin Mceuen of Cape Verde lead their respective teams in to battle week in and week out, and maintain the offenses by not making mistakes, both are at the bottom of the league in interceptions and at the top in touchdowns.

And it can be said for both teams that the hidden heros our the guys upfront, keeping both qb's clean and off their backs, while making holes for there backs. Armani was qouted as saying, "Between austin, wreck and i, these guys eat for free all week!" While the Dreams line is one of the largest in the league, and has the strength and quickness to go with it.

The future matchup of these teams is one for the ages in the Elephant conference and his highly anticipated by all. Will the old saying hold true? Defense wins championships! In Angola and Cape Verde, fans are hoping it will!

Dream players and coaches were unavailable for comment until after todays contests.

Nice Write up will! You left out the good part when I said: "Nany Nany Boo Boo to anyone that tries to beat us!"

I thought that was a very good line, I'm kinda sad you left it out!

Hahaha... very nice... and very true!

What sucks is... over our next 3 games, 2 of them are away at the Kings and Dream during. There are rumors of home field advantage this season, so we have our work cut out for us!

Summary - Football 101:
Power run + Great O line + Great run d + Mistake free passing game + Big playmakers = success.

But it really is a pretty good read and didn't take too long at all.

So does respect for those tonsil surfers called runningbacks. Blackheart will take every MLB in this league VS those sissy ball carrying ham slappers in a steel cage match. I bet 32 MLBs walk out standing. That is all.
