Well I'm bored today and I wanted to see whats on the docket for game #7 so I decided to post my predictions and power rankings.
Berlin Devine Right vs Solomon Islands Pack
I don't think SIP can stop the Berlin offense in time to really put up a fight. Berlin has the CB depth to stop the WR duo of Papale and Nilsson. But if SIP can score early and often they could keep the score close. SIP also doesn't have the depth to make this game interesting down the stretch.
Berlin 72 - SIP 30
Cocaine Cowboys vs Seattle Panthers
*****GAME OF THE WEEK*****
Cowboys are a very very good team. They are facing a good team in the Panthers that have been promoted from A. I think the Panthers are the best of the promoted teams, but they can't stop the Cowboys. I expect Seattle to be out of energy come the 4th quarter where they let the game get out of hand. I expect HB Hanel to have a huge day with 150 yards rushing and 3 TDs.
Cowboys 49 - Panthers 17
Rekohu Raptors vs Williamsburg Colonials
Why would I waste my time analizing this game?
Raptors 85 - Colonials 17
Texas Storm vs Atlantis Lost Souls
Again, I don't want to waste my time. Souls huge.
Souls 220 - Storm 3
Sandersville WarChickens vs Bundaberg Drop Bears
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Bears big.
Bears 173 - Chickens 0
Blood Gulch Pumas vs South Sydney Rabid Rabbitohs
The Rabbits are an original AA #4 team and they started off very strong. The only problem is, they never improved and have been steadily decling every season. This season is no different. They are now a bottom feeder team for the avg to good teams to feast on. Sorry Rabbits, but Kimble will not be stopped. He may get 6 scores in this game.
Pumas 77 - Rabbits 10
Wellington War Pigs vs Redcliff Razamanaz
How can Redcliff only have won 1 game? They were my preseason #5 team and they are off to a terrible start. This is the week they start the proverbial "righting of the ship". Chris George may be the best back in the league and he needs to start getting the ball to assert his pressance. He can keep the Redcliff defense on the sidelines where they belong. Redcliff's O-Line will have a huge day in this one. The War pigs may only win 2 games all season and this game they are just simply way over matched.
Pigs 21 - Redcliff 64
Phoenix Eagles vs Memphis Kings
2 promoted teams doing battle in the new league! The Kings have the edge if you go by scouting bars. But who really uses those as indicators on whose the better team? The Kings passing attack of Carter to Bey should destroy the Eagles secondary. It will take very good game planning and coverage schemes to stop that combo. The Eagles will have to hope for ball control and clock management to keep the Kings offense on the sidelines. Madd had better rack up the yards so Breadwinner can pcik apart the Kings defense. The winner of this game has a legit shot at the #8 seed in the playoffs, and the loser is most likely done for season 7 and looking forward to season 8. I expect a shoot out and a very entertaining game.
Eagles 54 - Kings 51 (possible OT)
Power Rankings through 6 games
1. Cowboys (only team to play and beat a top team)
2. Raptors (last season's best returning team)
3. Right (my own team and I don't feel that we are above the others until they lose or we beat them)
4. Souls
5. Bears
6. Panthers
7. Island Pack
8. Pumas
9. Eagles
10. Pigs
11. Razamanaz (gets my vote for most disappointing season through 6 games)
12. King
13. Colonials
14. Rabbits
15. WarChickens
16. Storm
