1) Samoa Flying Foxes – Smacked down Gold Coast. Samoa has nearly cruise control until the playoffs. Auckland is up next week, in what on paper looks like the game of the week, but lets not get excited it will be an easy win for Samoa. Next week= Will beat Auckland 45-17
2) Micronesia Megalodons - Micronesia does the deal. Anytime you pick against these guys they win. Right now it looks like they are shaping up to be maybe the only real threat left to Samoa. Will beat Melbourne next week by over 20.
3) Cleveland Dawg Pound- lost a close one to Micronesia. Their win over Wollongong is enough to keep them above the Hammers, but barely. Next week will pad stats against the Islanders.
4) Wollongong Hammers – Solid win over Melbourne. Next week against Gold Coast, should provide them a chance to win without much game planning.
The Road Warriors
--------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Hamilton Hellcats – OK I already gave in and bumped these guys back down to number 5 after Wollongongs impressive performances. Talon Bay next week means more easy wins.
6) Auckland Titans – 2 more wins since the last rankings, and actually undefeated in Zeta league play, all that changes this week when big badass Samoa rolls into town to snuff the Titans out.
7) Melbourne Predators – Been a tough run for Melbourne who seems to be everyone’s whipping boy, losers of 4 straight and go ahead and count that as 5 straight when Micronesia rolls into town.
8) Gridiron Gladiators- is looking better each week, be on the look out for Gridiron to do some damage to teams left on their schedule. Sack next week in a real good game.
The Bubble
--------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Sack Sabbath – Sack stomps out a CPU team this week. Good matchup between them and Gridiron next week, look for Gridiron to sneak by.
10) Hawaii Phoenixes – Won this week against a poor team, next week brings a bigger challenge with a beaten up Sidney team
11) Sidney Vicious – Got pounded by Gridiron in a surprising rout. Hawaii Phoenixes next week should be an evenly matched game.
The rest in no particular order
Sydney Sharks
Gold Coast Vipers
South Lions
Talon Bay Privateers
Hawaii Islanders
