Crow does such a great job on these in his conference! I enjoyed them when I was in his conference last year, but this year we were sent to separate conferences. Since the Eastern Conference is without something similar, I thought I would give it a go. Crow, they say that imitation is the finest form of flattery. Here goes:

Rk- Team---record---Last ranking---next game---write up

---Leader of the pack---
#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---(5-0)---(-)---#9 Moncton Machine---Pies have only been tested once and won't be tested this time, either.

---Strong out of the gate---

#2 Flin Flon Flyers---(4-1)---(-)---#7 The Frozen Tundra---Last week's win makes the loss to Quahog all the more difficult to figure out.
#3 Prince Rupert Catsharks---(3-2)---(-)---#4 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---Two losses to TOUGH team makes them no less a threat in this league.
#4 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes---(4-1)---(-)---#3 Prince Rupert Catsharks---This week's game vs. Catsharks will answer some questions for both teams. For the Quakes, it will explain the loss to the Eagles as a fluke or a sign of things to come.

---Lots of questions, few answers---

#5 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---(3-2)---(-)---#10 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---They have been up and down like a heartbeat. Impressive losses and uninspiring wins.
#6 Halifax Knights---(3-2)---(-)---#16 West Side Hellcats---They have yet to get that signature win. The Hellcats won't provide that for them this week, either.
#7 The Frozen Tundra---(3-2)---(-)---#2 Flin Flon Flyers---Two points away from a 1-5 record. This week, they have a chance to make a statement.

---The Battle for 8th---

#8 Booty Bay Bandits---(3-2)---(-)---#14 Canadian Bacon---This team is better than it's record. It will be a few weeks before they get a chance to prove it against the Catsharks.
#9 Moncton Machine---(3-2)---(-)---#1 Twin Peaks Cherry Pies---Season opening win streak about to be a distant memory as they take their turn behind the Cherry Pies' wood shed.

---In Danger of falling away---

#10 Seville Scranton Golden Eagles---(2-3)---(-)---#5 Montreal Hawaiian Punch---Losing two winable games in a row has made this a very big game for the Eagles if they have playoff aspirations.
#11 New Amsterdam Chronic---(2-3)---(-)---#15 St. Clair Ice Hawks---Their three losses have come to teams with a combined record of 12-3. They look to get healthy against the hapless Hawks.
#12 Quahog Blumpkins---(1-4)---(-)---#13 Stillwater Cowboys---Still trying to find themselves. A flash in the pan win against Flin Flon will seem even more like a fluke with a stumble against the Cowboys.

---Already playing for pride---

#13 Stillwater Cowboys---(2-3)---(-)---#12 Quahog Blumpkins---Absolute must win vs. Quahog. They don't have many chances left to add to those two wins.
#14 Canadian Bacon---(1-4)---(-)---#8 Booty Bay Bandits---Only win against the doormat of the Western Conference. Lots of fat on this hog.

---Headed down to BBB---

#15 St. Clair Ice Hawks---(0-5)---(-)---#11 New Amsterdam Chronic---A team promoted before it's time. Need to right the ship soon or we will find ourselves back where we started.
#16 West Side Hellcats---(0-5)---(-)---#6 Halifax Knights---18 points scored this season...nuff said.

Game of the week:

#3 Prince Rupert Catsharks (3-2) at #4 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (4-1)
Two Friends from BBB #5 renew acquaintances. Winner takes a big step towards the playoffs.

Yeah thanks Patboys. I did these last year for the East so I know how much of a pain they are.

One more loss and we will have equaled the loss total for our first 2 seasons. Our gameplans have left much to be desired this season, which is pretty much on me. Hopefully we get this turned around...

Good work. Your line about my team: "Their three losses have come to teams with a combined record of 12-3. They look to get healthy against the hapless Hawks." couldnt be truer.

Great job Pat. Yes last season I did the west and Dave did the east. It is down to taking me about a half an hour to do these if it is taking you too long and need any hints to make it go faster PM and will give you some of my tips. Also look at other leagues to help you steal ideas if you need it. I stole some of my ideas from Dave. Thanks Dave.
