I figure, why not? We've got 2 really good ranking posts going, lets get some predictions up here as well and there have been enough games that I hope I know who exactly you teams all are at this point. No offense if I choose you to lose or say something horrible about your team. I honestly don't care if you do get offended, everyone else will laugh. And then we'll laugh cuz you got offended. So please, lets be adults and enjoy this.
Fhockey.com Demos vs. Rancho Penasquitos Thunderbolts: After a really rough opening schedule, Rancho is finally ready to put some numbers in their W column. They picked up one last week against FMMP in a tough battle. Fhockey seems like they can't get themselves together this season, despite coming on strong at the end of season 6. Prediction: Rancho by 14
Alberta Irukandji vs. Manitoba Lions: After dominating their first 3 games, Alberta was upset last week by Vancouver's excellent D. The Lions are reeling after two straight losses, and are surely hoping to pull out an upset against the Irukandji. Unfortunately, I don't see their defense being up to the task.
Prediction: Alberta by 21.
Manitoba Maulers vs. Vancouver Vikings: This ought to be a great defensive battle. Manitoba most likely overhauled some things coming off of the stunning loss to the Chickens of Mexico (in Canada). The Vikings are looking to extend their winning streak to 5 with another upset here.
Prediction: Vancouver by 4.
Fort McMurray Mounted Police vs. Arroz Con Pollo: After a close loss to Rancho, FMMP is going to be looking really hard for that first win. Unfortunately for them, the Mexican Chickens (of Canada) seem to have finally hit their stride after an upset over Manitoba. Perhaps it was a fluke, we'll see after this game.
Prediction: Pollo Loco by 14.
North Bay Drift vs. Moose Jaw Roughriders: Two great teams here. The Drift is trying to get out of this league finally...Moose Jaw is trying to show that they're among the best to come up this season. Neither has any quality wins, and both have losses that were expected. This game has playoff implications way down the road for these two.
Prediction: North Bay by 7.
Canada Dragons vs. Saskatchewan Thrashers: The Thrashees will learn what its like to take a Dragon. Take that as you will.
Prediction: Dragons by 8 billion...give or take 7,999,999.745.
Laval Crusaders vs. Edmonton Thunderchiefs: Despite early criticism, the Thunderchiefs have looked great their last three games. Laval on the other hand, looks like they need another season to really get competitive in this league. They've played some decent teams close, but haven't been able to quite pull out the win.
Prediction: Thunderchiefs by 10.
Victoria Fish vs. Cincinnati Cardinals: The Fish have played pretty good so far this season with the exception of being one of the teams to shame the West in week 1, but the Cardinals have been playing like they own this league. Some teams later in the season might challenge them on that, but the Fish aren't among those teams.
Prediction: Cardinals by 24.
