Alpha:
#1. Bay City Bohica, With wins over Samoa, Moai, and Gaum, they might have the most impressive resume to date in OAA#2.
#2. Easter Island Moai, They have only one loss and it's to the team above them. They have played some amazing ball and they have two slight let ups in their schedule in the next three weeks.
#3. Guam Gamecocks, They have managed only one loss and it is also to the team atop the Alpha ranking. They are now faced in week 6 with a opponent that is from the same league and division as last season... Fun.
#4. Golden Coast Titanz, The more they play, the more impressed I am with them. They are 1 point away from being at least #2 on this list. They are really a great team and one that will be a contender throughout season 7.
#5. Amarillo Super Frogs, Forget their first game let down, that win over Samoa was really impressive. I admit a little shock when I seen the actual score and looked at some film. What a great game.
Zeta:
#1. Fiji Panzers, They took down a pretty decent team that had only one loss going into the game. If nothing else is said about this team, let it be said that Fiji plays the best with the least amount of talent.
#2. Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts, Does anybody besides me find it funny that the two undefeated Zeta teams are both freshly promoted from OA#3? Davy is super this season and they are playing some really great defense.
#3. Hueco Mundo Hollows, They layed down some smack time against Atlantis. That was a very impressive win against a very underwhelming team. They face a tough 3 game stretch, and need to pull of some nice wins to prove they are really this good.
#4. Asau Assassins, One loss and it is to the team at #3 in Zeta. They really layed down the law against a pretty good A-State team. Asau will be one of those classic teams that just hangs around until things get itchy.
#5. Sumatra Sea Hawks, One loss and it came to Asau. They have a little break in the schedule, then it's full speed again. Perth will be tough, but if they can get that W, they could take the next 3 fairly unchallenged.
Games to Watch
Alpha:
West Canaan Coyotes @ Guam Gamecocks.
We are looking at the #3 team in Alpha vs a team with a winning record, but more than that is the past. Both teams started in OA#3, and were both promoted to AA in the offseason. The Gamecocks took down the Coyotes in season 6 twice, but in season 5 the Coyotes took home the win. Who will take the W with them this time?
Zeta:
Davy Jones' Locker Pirate Ghosts @ Perth Cyclones.
It is going to be a smack down. Get the training crew ready. This should be one of those fun matches where if the players could fight on the sim, the would.
