LUNADA, ANGOLA -- Due to recent violence, riots, and fighting between three warring tribes, the Angola Soaring Falcons packed all of their equipment up in the middle of the night and left town before anyone knew what had happened. When sun rose over the African continent the next morning, the moving camels were spotted entering the Nile River Valley. Hadabi Osumrae, our local reporter, caught up with the team owner, Mike Brock, to find out the reason for the move.

"The turmoil, accompanied with the complete rebuilding effort of my newly purchased team this season, was just too much for my players to deal with," said Brock. "We have moved to the Nile region, where we are hoping the new environment will take some stresses off of our players so they can focus their attention on the field."

When asked how the transition was going, Brock said the following, "We only lost 4 camels and 2 players to crocodiles. We consider ourselves lucky we didn't lose more. The 2 players were rookies so we should be able to replace them with the draft this season. They were also single so no pesky lawsuits from families to worry about. The camels were carrying the mouthguards and protective cups. In the long run, this should harden our players to where I and my staff want them to be. Afterall, how would you like to play against a team who got their teeth knocked out after getting kicked in the nuts? I can't buy that kind of motivation!"

Our reporter agreed with Brock before asking his final question. When asked about the teams mascot, Brock replied, "Soaring Falcons....are you kidding? We would be lucky not to get our asses kicked by antelopes with a name like that. So, we went with the obvious choice -- Nile Crocodiles."

Reporting from the Nile River basin, this is Hadabi Osumrae signing off.

The following statement was released today from the home office of Mike Brock, owner of the Angola Soa.....err the Nile Crocodiles:

NILE RIVER BASIN, AFRICA -- My PR director has asked me to speak to the media today in regards to the flood of queries he has received regarding the team's move and the controversy it has stirred with some of the fans who bought season tickets before the move.

Let me say that, although we can not refund those ticket purchases due to their investment in new sections of our new stadium in the Nile River Basin, I have offered to return the camels used in the move. As we didn't sell that many season tickets to begin with, we should have approx. 1.5 camels per season ticket holder. As a goodwill gesture on behalf of the Crocodiles' organization, I am offering to send Uhauls to aid these season ticket holders in moving near of our new facilities. They will, of course, have to provide a deposit of one camel per truck, as well as pay for their own petrol.

To show our apprecition for their support this season, they will get the first sneak peaks of the stadium under construction and art of what the stadium when fully completed, will look like.]

If anyone has any concerns, please direct them to my office via snail mail. Our emails are not up and working yet, nor are any phones. I am busy trying to survive this season and building a team for the future.

If you insist on seeing me immediately, please pull a tag from the front desk (http://i39.tinypic.com/157ekah.jpg) and kindly wait outside near the closest group of trees we plan to clear this week.

Thanks again to all of our loyal fans support in this tough rebuilding season.

Go Crocs!
