Disclaimers: These standings are compiled using projections by the League Projection Spreadsheet, based on results of regular season games. They are in no way presented as a fait accompli, but rather as a general indication of how strong the spreadsheet perceives each team to be.

It's not clear to me how the spreadsheet sorts teams with the same record, but it is clear that it is NOT based on the current tiebreaker system, so these should not be taken as a projection of playoff seeding.

Glad to be at the top of Alpha, but I don't think it's all that accurate.

After just four games, it probably isn't very accurate at all. The spreadsheet used to need at least six games to be worth a damn, and that was before the intraconference games were moved from 16 to 1.

The spreadsheet is designed to take the current GLB tiebreakers into account. However, you may be forgetting that it predicts the results from all the future games and then sorts the final standings based on the tiebreakers at that point.

Hence, it may appear that teams are placed incorrectly because of current results, but the future results should effect the tie breakers. At least that is how it has always worked in the version I have used.

Ah ha this looks more realistic. Hopefully the Steel Rain can pull off an upset or two to stay in this league next season.

Having also used the spreadsheet toward the end of last season, I can say without a doubt that the version of the spreadsheet that I use does not do this. For example: Hamburg Burglars vs Portugal Bull Riders (27-22) Spread: 5

I'm not sure why I would have "forgotten" that very obvious possibility. Do you know something about my memory that I don't?

I wouldn't mind 14-2.

9-7 and in the playoffs isnt too bad....

It is predicting NBK to score over 200 points a game... I have seen these used before, and don't really care for it.

Well, we have yet to face the 4 gutted teams, so maybe the thing is on to something

Somehow I don't think teams are going to put an average of 100 points per week on us.
