Commentary
1) The big ties are breaking up a little bit. BDC and Canberra fell out of the unbeaten club this week; falling out of the big tie at the top hurt them both a disproportionate amount change-wise. Meanwhile, the Sea Turtles and Bandits both got their first wins in order to climb out of the cellar. Replacing them in the tie are Barossa and Brantford, who last week were in their own little world at 21st because they had faced only undefeated teams in the first 3 weeks. Now that that's no longer the case, both free-fell back to the bottom.

2) We're still waiting for our first beatloop (unless I am missing it somewhere). This isn't too surprising; GLB has a much wider skill band (see: all the 4-0 and 0-4 teams) and fewer upsets than the NFL, which leads to more vertical graphs. In addition, we don't have home-and-away series like NFL divisions, which produce a beatloop if the teams split.

3) Keep an eye on Firmament Mystic Prophets and Sth Queensland Crushers. They are very interesting to me: Firmament is 1-3, but they beat SQC (by 1), whose second loss was a 1-pointer to VKS. Either both of these teams are pretty good, or they're both mediocre or worse.

4) Samoa is the lowest-ranked 2-2 team. Beatpaths are stupid!

As always, please ask questions and point out anything that looks buggy!

I just re-read your question and realized that I didn't fully answer it. While it is true that I have not tested my beatloop algorithm on any past seasons, I have created a fictional test league to work it out. So it seems like it should be working properly...the question is whether or not a bug will appear in a situation that I did not test for.

Basically, what happened was that your BeatPower got a little bit better (VKS won and the Heat already had a Beatpath to you via VSK, while the Sea Turtles got you another win relationship by winning a game) while SQC's got worse, breaking the tie between you. Meanwhile, Tasmania got hit hard by its previously-undefeated Beatlosses suddenly becoming defeated Beatlosses, and dropped below you.

lol My SDET mind translated your first response into, "I am marketing my stuff, testing can wait".

we are low but marking us doomed because we have 0 wins is nothing bad lol....good teams here and we are fighting against bad chemistry. problem with this game is the rich get richer easier to recruit when your winning and harder when losing.

keep sleeping on us and we'll sneak a few in there

No doubt, the Wildcats arn't a team to sleep on, almost beating BPN is impressive.

Its only "easier" to recruit when you are a USA Pro team. All the rest of us have to fight for every player.

In a lot of cases it's just being in a USA region that give you a recruiting bonus, doesn't necessarily have to be pro.
