All of those players have been chosen by stats, not by level.

If you want to make a strong case about your player, post it here and I will see what I can do.

It will be updated at week 12 and at the end of the regular season.

It's not that easy using stats to make a "best team" because a lot of tackles can be a bad sign...

And a lot of pancakes can also be misleading since the season isn't at the end. Most teams playing against vancouver has few pancakes.....But that doesn't result in bad O-line..

Would you rather he picked the teams by who had the best name? Seriously, it is the best indicator of performance we have.

Good point Merik. An example of this is that my FS has only 15 tackles, but has 1 FF and 7 pass defended. Does that mean he isnt good? No it means our defense is good.

I'm just saying that stats isn't the best way, and not in the middle of the season. A lot of factor is important but it would be too hard to look into every player and compare then. And I don't think you can judge a lineman on pancakes, it doesn't calculate how many times the team runs, so a better way would be to divide the pancake number with how many times the team runs. But stil that just tell something of how good a player is at run-blocking. Could be a guy was a master pass blocker but never made a pancake in his life. So it should be taken in account how many times he was causing a sack or hurry or even a TFL, but when it comes to TFL or sacks it could be the QB or HB fault.

for QB and HB, you should take in account the O-line and FB, because with a good o-line most QB and HB is good

for WR should be taken in account if they are throwed too or they are constantly throwed too

And for defence players, a high tackle for a CB can be bad since he can't deflect the ball, but it could also be that he stops a lot of run plays

I don't think it should be based on Stats. Popcorn Rivers has 3 FF's, 2nd in the league I think, none of them from WRs, but he's not built to force fumbles, it was somewhat luck. He's had no tackles the past two games since he's not allowing guys to catch anything, and I am pretty sure QBs haven't been throwing towards him much either.

I'm not trying to say he's the best or anything like that, but that is just one example, and I am sure every team has their own players where stats don't tell the whole story.

It would be very hard to make an accurate list, so I think this should just be fun and not taken too seriously, similar to the Pro Bowl.

Anyway here are the players from my team that I feel have been playing at an exceptional level this season. There are better players I'm not listing, these are just the ones who have had a great season so far.

HB - Ogie Oglethorpe
FB - Jim Brown
WR - David "Bomb" Dick (not the greatest stats, but consistently makes the big play when we need it)
DT - The Planet
LB - Gift Card
CB - Psychotic Bee (always makes HUGE stops for us despite being outmatched by opposing WRs)
CB - Popcorn Rivers
K - Money In The Bank

He wasn't voting on an MVP here, it was an All-Star Team. All-Star teams are based on individual successes, ie. individual stats. If your defender has alot of tackles, ints, sacks, etc. that means he made plays. If your offensive player has lots of yards and touchdowns then they have made plays. When LT goes to the probowl they don't take into account how good his line is they just take into account his yards and touchdowns. It's all in fun and I thought it was well done. If your guy didn't get picked I'm sure your coach won't bench you this week, and if you did I don't think there was a bonus in your contract for it anyway. Was there????
