1) Samoa Flying Foxes – 98-7 win over Sydney Sharks. Well enough said about this performance really. Samoa will be tough to beat for anyone this season, the real question that Samoa might be asking is how they stack up to Alpha. Next week= Will beat Melbourne 49-7
2) Cleveland Dawg Pound- 48-24 win over Melbourne. Well so far this week im on a roll with predictions. I figured Cleveland was going to be just to much football team for Melbourne to handle. A fairly convincing win in all facets of the game. Next Week= Will beat Gold Coast (who appears much better than their record) 35-21.
3) Micronesia Megalodons - Micronesia rolls on, a 100+ point domination of a CPU team isn’t exactly press worthy, next week should be a little better challenge for Micronesia. Next Week- Will beat the Gladiators 17-7
4) Wollongong Hammers – 42-41 win over Gridiron Gladiators. Very close, so apparently I have either Wollongong over rated or gridiron underrated, and it may be a combination of both. Squeaked out a 1 point win in a close battle. Next Week= Beats the Hawaii Phoenixes 21-20
The Road Warriors
--------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Hamilton Hellcats - 62-3 win over the Islanders. Not much to talk about other then a dominate performance from Hamilton who I am starting to like more and more. Next week- Should win over Sidney 45-21
6) Melbourne Predators – lost to the Dawgs. To be expected, a good showing though. Outmatched by a stronger Dawgs’ team. Unfortunately for Melbourne they are going to be bounced hard by Samoa next week.
7) Sack Sabbath – 40-7 win over Talon Bay. Nice win for the Sabbath makes 2 in a row for Sack. Next week- Will beat Auckland 48-31
8) Hawaii Phoenixes – 20-16 win over Gold Coast. Solid win for Hawaii over a higher rated Gold Coast. Next Week= 21-20 loss to Wollongong
The Bubble
--------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Gridiron Gladiators- Lost 41-42 to Wollongong. I think its time to move them up into the discussion. Next week they play Micronesia, so things will get worse before they get better.
10) Auckland Titans – 38-13 win over Sidney. I projected my Titans to drop this one, but they proved me wrong with a good solid performance. Both sides of the ball were effective for this young team. Next Week- Will drop to Sack 48-31
11) Sidney Vicious - Lost to Auckland 38-13. Well since I signed sealed and delivered them a win in my projections last week, my team in Auckland goes out and proves me wrong. Don’t let the score fool you though; it was 14-13 in the 4th quarter before Auckland scored 3 quick TD’s on a noticeably winded defense. Next Week= Will lose again to Hamilton 45-21
12) Sydney Sharks- Speechless, I don’t look forward to playing Samoa. Another bottom tiered playoff team from A1 last season that doesn’t stand a chance against the Flying Foxes. I just might take a knee when I play them to keep the score down by eating clock….. Next week – I pick them to beat Talon Bay 21-17
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The rest in no particular order
Gold Coast Vipers ( I sense they will be moved into the bubble soon)
South Lions
Talon Bay Privateers
Hawaii Islanders
