So is he the greatest to ever play the position? Or just the greatest ball hawk of all time?

In pass support? I'd probably have to give a hell yes. For all around, gotta go with Ronnie Lott.

He is going to dominate the titans on Saturday. I think I smell two more picks with one of them being for six!

I'm a homer here, but don't forget about Rod Woodson, perhaps the greatest ball hawk I've ever seen and the capability of taking it to the house on every defensive play before he blew out a knee late in his career. He was also a spectacular punt returner.

Lott was probably the most intimidating defensive back ever. He would hit people so hard, he'd knock himself out.

I think you're a little over confident on this one. Call it bias because I am a Tennessee fan, but I think what Collins can do compared to Pennington is read the defenses better. Don't get me wrong though. I do believe Ed Reed is the best at this moment with a good conversation putting him as one of the best ever. I just think that the Titans are a completely different beast then the Dolphins. The Titans proved that back in week 5.

Now if we go off of history though, Baltimore stands a good chance of upsetting the Titans at home. All in all I think it will be a great game, but in the end, the fresh Titans upend the tired Ravens by 10+.

This should be an awesome game, and Ed Reed is on fire......love the Woodson shout out too. Very true!

I am a Broncos fan, but got a soft spot for the Ravens (mainly cause i hate the Colts and so do Baltimore), and I think it will come down to the fact that Collins is very ordinary.

I think the Ravens will win, but it will be one hell of a game. Same as the others this weekend........now if only that crappy rookie Kicker from Kansas City could kick field goals, then Denver might be there /sigh

Come on Ravens!!! Woot!

In fantasy world if you could have Ed reed at FS and Ronnie Lott at SS on the same team that would just be sick.

And yes I think ed reed is the greatest fs I've ever seen.

You have to remember that Chad Pennington was known for not throwing interceptions. I'm pretty sure they had a record for least giveaways in a season. Then look what happened on sunday. The ravens forced 4 picks and a fumble. Thats what the ravens defense does. I'd take them any day over the titans D.

And I think that it is an advantage for the ravens because you guys will come out cold. It helps offenses to play every week and if you let the ravens get a lead, it will be very hard to come back. In fact the only reason you came back when we played in the season was of that bull crap roughing the passer penalty. That game was over.

The ravens are the hottest team in the nfl right now right up there with the chargers. I'd rather be hot then have a few weeks off and STILL have ?'s with some key defensive players.

In the words of lil' wayne- "I think the ravens are gonna come out and punch them in the mouth and the titans will cry and go home."

Ravens 20
Titans 13

I'm sure it will be a good game regardless. I do agree the roughing the passer call was a ticky-tack call. We'll see what happens.

I agree. Anyone willing to amputate the tip of his pinky finger in order to finish a game has to be somewhat intimidating.

If Tennessee can run the ball, which is definitely not a given against that defense, they will win regardless of what either QB is able to accomplish. Period.

Tennessee is a better team overall, especially on offense. If they're able to get 150+ on the ground, they will win by default.

The key word is IF. No one has run on the ravens all season except for the Giants. The only backs that can run on us are big explosive backs. Sorry but L White doesn't qualify.

It is worrying me how everyone is picking us to win. I enjoy the exact opposite. We tend to use that to our advantage.

Joe Flacco got over the hump of his first playoff game so I think he can lead this team past the over rated titans.

Well, I am obviously biased but getting Haynesworth and Vandenbosch back is a big deal for us. While I understand they wont be at 100%, it will help alot up front. I hope mawae can play too, but thats doubtful so well see. Win or lose I cant wait. I think this will be the toughest game all year for both teams, and I am looking forward to it.

But I also recall the Ravens not being able to run on the titans either. Key to the game will be Flacco honestly. If he has to throw 30+ times, the titans will win the game. Flacco is going to be really good for baltimore, but he isn't ready to carry a game completely on his shoulders.

Oh yeah. Quit stealing all of the Ttians players. Took McNair, Mason, and Rolle. Three of my favorite guys and you guys take them.

HAHA yeah i know. But Mason is one of my favorite players too. Did you see him on the nfl network at the dallas game? He caught a touchdown with one arm! Mans a trooper. And rolle has been a big part of why our secondary is holding passers to a record low 60 qb rating on the season. McNair led us to the playoffs that one year but that was about it.
