Lazy bastards, I haven't spent the appropriate time scouting each team, but I did take about 30 seconds to open each teams profile and take a peek at what I would think makes a good team. So here is the premature power rankings because no one was going to step to the plate.
The Fabulous Four
--------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Samoa Flying Foxes - They look every bit the front runner. Dismantled my "<3" team in Trilla in a preseason game. Although a loss to Guam shouldn't be discounted this early. Look for Samoa to smash Syndey this week. 78-17
2) Cleveland Dawg Pound- Yeap they lost already, but to Samoa. One thing I've always hated in polls is when the #2 team losses to the #1, the #2 team drops to like #6. How the fuck does that make sense anyway. If the best team beats the second best team, shouldn’t the rankings remain the same? Did I mention that offensive line is stupidly over leveled for AA? I think Cleveland wins a nail biter against Melbourne this week. 28-24
3) Micronesia Megalodons - I almost went for the sexy pick again with Wollongong this year, but I learned from last season that Micronesia shouldn't be doubted for 1 second. They are much stronger than their scores will dictate, and had to play an AA1 Alpha powerhouse twice, could be a potential championship preview. Look for Micronesia and Bo to run away with a 98-7 win over the CPU South Lions.
4) Wollongong Hammers - Good start to what appears to be a home playoff run for Wollongong. They are a 2-0 team that has beaten two 0-2 teams. So I’m not sold yet, but I’m the checkout line with credit card in hand thinking about it. This week Wollongong should have another win over an inferior opponent.
The Road Warriors
--------------------------------------------------------------------
5) Sidney Vicious - A team that most certainly could find themselves in the top 4 mix. I don’t have a lot of familarity with them, but it doesn't take a scout to know they are a team that is playoff bound. Sidney plays my team this week Auckland, and as much as I would like to "believe", realism hits you like a bucket of ice water from time to time and tells you Sidney wins 35-17.
6) Melbourne Predators - Another team that I’m uncertain of. They show the makings of a good team, but a preseason loss and some games I think shouldn’t have been so close have me pushing them down the rankings. Yes I fully understand they are 2-0 and this ranking should be the bulletin board material for the locker room to motivate Melbournes little dots before game day. I see Cleveland winning this week.
7) Hamilton Hellcats - Playoff team from last season that has a realistic chance of reaching the top 4. Its mostly to early to tell where teams will end up, but I do know that Hamilton will end up in the playoffs and working someone. Look for them to dominate the Hawaii Islanders this week 48-17.
8) Sack Sabbath - Ohhh Sack Sabbath, everyone’s favorite underachiever. I’m scared even mentioning them in the rankings because of their volatile nature. One week they can knock out the champ and the next drop to a much weaker team.. They have the makings of a playoff team so they steal the last spot in this early rankings.
The Bubble
--------------------------------------------------------------------
9-11
Auckland Titans - This team has been together since the day it was formed. Created Season 5, It went from Canada BBB to Oceania A to Oceania AA in 2 full seasons. We stuck together as a team having signed most of my guys at level 10-13 and building upward from there. We can't compete with some of those teams that out level us severely but we shouldn't be taken lightly, we are looking forward to some good games and some good ass kicking.
Sydney Sharks- A good team from A that will take another season before they can compete with the class of AA1 again look out for them next season, they were a few key spots away from making a deep run last season
Hawaii Phoenixes - A2's local window lickers. Nevermind that’s just Hindugator. They should make some trouble for teams this season, but probably are a little under leveled for this season. But If I had to pick a team on the bubble that could easily walk into the playoffs it would be Hawaii.

Gridiron Gladiators
South Lions
