First let me say a heart felt "Thanks" for doing this. It takes a lot of time and effort that I certainly don't have that in me with all I have going on. It makes everything more entertaining and interesting. Okay, I would like to point at what my weak mind sees as a major flaw in this system. Every team that plays The Punter Academy is going to have greatly exaggerated stats. This would mean the entire Alpha Conference and the Dax Wild Dogs will have a weighted advantage against Zeta in this equation as the season goes on. It is not your fault, but they have no intention of stopping anything at any time on any play .It probably would be too much work, but maybe the offensive stats against them should be divided by 3 as that would still equal a very one sided win. Its not a perfect answer, but it would a least be a little more reflective of where teams really are. Just another thought, but is there any way to factor "Wins" into the equation. Me, I'm just an old feeble minded man (that's what my wife keeps telling me anyway!). I couldn't have begun to figure out as much you have. But, I can't help but think that (wins) could be an important stat as a part of "Power Rankings"

I'm actually in the process of trying to incorporate a strength of schedule metric into it, but haven't determined how to best export the data. I don't want to go down each team's profile page to determine who they've played and what those teams' records are.

If I can create a quick easy way, then I'll put it in. If not, then it'll be left to reflect the simple stat calculations... with the understanding that early season match-ups carry quite a bit of weight until the "common opponent" aspect comes into play.

Well again, I greatly applaud your effort! You can't ask for more than what your are trying to do!

Running them separate for each conference might get around the punter academy situation.

... yeah... it's just a bunch of numbers, unless you know what you're looking at. Unfortunately the limitations within the forum HTML allowance makes formating a table difficult, so I have to get "high-tech" and use the punctuation to space it out so it at least reads intelligently.

If you need an explanation of what you're looking at just let me know and I'll give a more thorough breakdown.
