Welcome to the A6 East Power Rankings for Week 1. I will update these rankings after each quarter of the season is completed. It looks like a particularly weak year in the East after only winning 6 of the interconference games against the West. That is good news for some of the teams in the middle of the pack that have a chance to make some improvements to get into the playoffs where anything can happen. We also do not have any League winners moving into the East as it seems all of the league winners have trickled into the West. The New Jersey Blaze top the rankings as all three teams they lost to last season have moved on to other leagues this year. Memphis will give them a run for their money on a perfect regular season. Memphis is one of the only two original teams left from the inception of A6 in the East, and I would bet they have more regular season wins than any other team in GLB that has yet to ever be promoted. They just can't seem to shake the playoff curse. Phoenix was new to the league last year and has worked hard to put together a solid competitive team. Tennessee is the other original team with Memphis, and they will give many of the new teams a good run for their money. I expect the League Runners up (Q and Cybermagination)from Both BBB 11 and 12 to make the playoffs. It looks to me the #7-#10 teams will fight it out for the last two playoff spots as the rest of the teams in the league are going to have a rough go of it. Feel free to prove me wrong...winnning will move you up the rankings.

1. New Jersey Blaze
2. Memphis River Rats
3. Phoenix Scorpions
4. Tennessee Fury
5. Q Dawgs
6. Cybermagination Dreams
7. Buffalo Chips
8. Dirty Cheetahs
9. Jacktown Gangstars
10. Boston Bears
11. Enghave Evolution
12. Los Angeles Bicycle Clowns
13. Atlantic City Aces
14. Sparta Wardogs
15. Ottawa Outbreak
16. Awesomeville Bearphins

Great write up man, it is nice to see one of these. I am liking the number one ranking, hopefully we can keep it. We face the number 5 team on this list next, and then the number 2 team .

Nice write up, Slayerrico. I think the top 4 is pretty accurate, but think you've underestimated the Bears a bit. A 7 point loss to CCIA isn't anything to be ashamed of. The only question is, will their OC return to the team after today's controversy. If they do keep it together, they could crack the top 4.

ya Bears should be much higher.... Corpus has the best players in the league and they barely lost.

Arguable, but CCIA is definitely a top 4 team in the West.

The Bears will have their chance to move up if they can put it all together!

Some good games. Way to step up for the East Slayer! Just tell your TE to play his F game next week

Good write-up, keep it up. And that's fine if you think the Bears are 10th in the East, you can just not try against us when we play

If it weren't obvious that the Cheetahs were a solid slow build team, I'd call this game a cupcake. Clearly isn't the case. I'm hoping the right gameplan is in place.

The real question of the week is, how many tackles will Abra Cadaver break for the Blaze.
