Warrior General Games

I'm the original owner and had the team for season 5 and most of season 6. For season 5, the team was just one agent, me. For season 6, I brought a handful of agents on board that I'd known for at least a couple of seasons, including StoutOne. However, I decided to sell the team when I decided to stop spending as much money on GLB. Immediately, S1 asked about transferring the team to one of his friends. I had no problem w/ it since I had built up a nice stadium, the team was in excellent fiscal health, and I felt that I had a good relationship w/ S1. However, after ownership transferred, things did not go as I had hoped.

A) Yes, I wanted S1's DE and OT but he strung me along w/ BS until the ownership transfer was complete and immediately signed his guys to An8. That's crap. He was blowing smoke up my ass because he's a duplicitous opportunist.

B) He said he was creating a farm team for the Waxers. More BS.

C) He traded off the existing roster of season 6 guys w/ day 40 season 6 contracts to the Cocks to make some extra bucks even though the team was in great financial shape. I went along w/ it because it wasn't a big enough deal to cause a lot of drama and, well, by that point I wasn't the owner anymore so what could I do. I'd say a significant part of S1 and his buddies' success comes from collusion, and I have no respect for it. I think they'd be successful anyway since they have good GLB minds and are great at networking, but the fact that they feel the need to cheat and/or bend the rules says something about the people behind the avatars imo.

D) If I had known beforehand that he would bring a bunch of immature children to An8, I would have just sold the team back.

Fact is, if S1 had been honest about the intentions of his players/my team, I wouldn't have transferred ownership to his buddy. But S1 just had to continue being S1 and tell me what I wanted to hear in order to get what he wanted. And now, apparently, that isn't enough. He and his pack from the kiddie table insist on puffing their chests over an internet game, throwing crap at other people and reducing their enjoyment of this game. I just don't get S1 or his buddies. It's just shit behavior all the way around and hopefully some life experience will straighten them out. I'm hopeful but not optimistic.

I apologize to everyone else in this league for my part in this since my bad judgment opened the door for the new version of An8.

I'll leave it at that. No doubt the An8 crew will retort w/ "clever" quips and retorts, so I have a request. Just one pun please. I rarely see them on GLB. It would be refreshing.

I NEVER strung you along about it. I told you I wasn't sure either way, but there was a good chance I could free up the DE because we usually have a surplus of them, but I knew we were losing 1 from the Waxers and I needed to find a replacement, which I did.

It is most definitely a farm team for the Waxers. We've already made a players for players trade between the 2 teams (no cash involved). I'm guessing you consider a farm team something of low levels, well we already have a team of slow build low levels (my team, Saigon Whores).

A lot of our (Waxers GM's) players have been replaced on the Waxers for higher levels, therefore we need a place to play our own personal players at.

This is the first time we've ever made a team change like this, and our other team's chemistry shows it. This may be considered collusion to some, but I call it starting fresh with our more active agents and better players regardless of level, as levels don't really mean much to us.


The Cameroon Outlaws team forum was dead as can be, and APL was boring. We had no idea we would be winning the league last season, or we may have went a different direction. Before we won APL, it wasn't easy to recruit because of inactive team forum and average success team.

We're just having fun on the forums, nothing more, nothing less. My predictions (i.e. triple digit points every game) were totally exaggerated all to get some activity in the league forum.

I told you our intentions of the Aces, I never begged you for the team neither. I find it funny that you always wanted players from me, but never offered players in return. I have no hard feelings about you still, as I'm thankful for the team transfer, but blocking me from PM's wasn't the greatest attempt at solving the issues you have.

I have a lot of people that ask me for things on GLB, such as players and what not, which is hard for me to fulfill most of the time, but since you gave us the team, you were most definitely on the top of the list. Apparently you were a little trigger happy when you seen I signed my DE to the Aces, and the OT I definitely never said anything on, he's a descent build for his level, and good OT's even at high levels are very hard to come by anymore. My OT did go to a different team, but only because of a player swap deal.

don't worry ks, S1 and his loud mouth clown buddy that always posts in these forums make their d-baggery pretty apparent. i see where you're coming from, but no need to apologize, you couldn't have known any better beforehand. there are just people out there who like to make fun of others and cut them down to fulfill their ideas of fun. in BBB13 last year, we had an owner who at times could be a bit overbearing and perhaps arrogant, but all of that changed when his mom got cancer and he stunned everybody by giving up his team and GLB for the most part. this is just something that most of us do for fun, and unfortunately the minds that make up the Aces n'Eights find their fun in ruining other people's fun. oh well, there's just people like that out there in the world, and like you said, maybe some real life intervention will make them think twice about the way they treat other people - even on an internet forum where their true identities and faces remain hidden. they may win a silly fictional championship for a game that will eventually fade away and be forgotten, but they'll never be respected for it and if one believes in karma, their d-baggery will catch up to them one day. best thing to do is just ignore it and don't regret selling them your team...like i said, you couldn't have known any better beforehand.

Wow, a class move from ksmilkman that really gives us all some insight into what we're dealing with here. I wonder if the mods ever read any of these things and if they'll see what a complete (and successful) effort at collusion this team is. For our part, we surely see what a complete and successful effort at being jackasses they are.

Bottom line, I could get some pads and get some of the guys I used to play ball with to do the same, and we could all go out and beat up on some Pop Warner kids. Sure, we'd win and dominate most of the teams, but at some point we'd have to look at ourselves in the mirror and see just how pathetic it really is. I guess there aren't many mirrors in the homes of the An8 guys.
