I've been building my OT around an interesting piece of equipment I bought that gave my player +2 to blocking and +1 to the special ability "Quick Cut".

I have built this piece up to give it +4 blocking and +2 Quick Cut and will bring it up to +5 blocking and +3 Quick Cut once I get my 8th bonus token tomorrow.

Now my question is whether I'm wasting my time with this piece, does this special ability only apply to HBs? I'm wondering this since the description says that it is an important ability for players who rely on speed and agility to avoid tackles, my OT doesn't.

Any opinions and expertise is appreciated.

I would think it's at the very least decent. It can't hurt to cut faster to make more blocks.

Think of it as an agility modifier/bonus...could always use more agility at OT...

What you really need is the Uber Blocking SA. It makes your OT impossible to beat.

Should be a decent SA for an OT to have. Maybe not great at the low skill levels you can easily get with advanced equipment, though.

got a similar piece but mine came with first step mod....

I've read something where Bort said this worked for all players making a sudden change of direction. It increases the angle at which the player can turn and decreases the amount of time it takes to regain acceleration.

I think it could definitely help an OT especially because most DEs focus on agility more than any other attribute.


How about Quick Cut for a Center?

I would love to have a chance to buy this piece on almost any of my other players. Would this be beneficial for a Center?

I have it...my OT has not given up a sack yet. He is a level 25 plaing in a 100 cap league. i also have A LOT of agility
