Ok You slackers here's a neutrals view to get the ball rolling. Please remember this is a bit of fun designed to stimulate a bit of friendly banter. Its also hampered by the fact that I know very little about the "newer" teams. Well without further ado
1. Grid Iron Valor
Perennial Playoff contenders who really look ready to step up. I've always felt these guys were something of an enigma, capable of beating anyone on their day but never quite living up to their potential. A couple of nice additions on offence to the receiving corps and they may have found the guys to complement the vastly underrated Dunrundidyouover. If their defence can step up to the plate I expect them to go all the way.
2. St Petersburg Red Tide
Another perennial playoff contender and they could easily have been number 1 its that close.Really balanced offence with real superstars in Rothelisberger, Whamm Bamm and Jayvee Superstar, they can both run and pass. The defence are no slouches either with all pro Ray Butkus at ROLB and a secondary to die for.If they could only get rid of Extruder and his shitty build they'd be set. (stick a stamp on his forehead and send him to Krakow)
3) Samarkand
Came from nowhere last season only to fall at the first hurdle in the playoffs.Always had a massively impressive offence able to run and throw, despite the fact they have a fat Spaniard at QB. However their defence was usually able to concede enough points to negate the offence. That changed last season at least against everyone bar the top three. Unfortunately A massive improvement defensively disappeared v St Pete's in the playoffs and all the old frailties were back. I still think that was a blip though and expect them to run the top two close, how close remains to be seen.
4) Lefkada
Everyone's fave "other" team have shown a steady improvement over the first 3 seasons of EEA1 and finally made the playoffs only to lose comprehensively to Krakow who they had defeated in the reguar season. The potential of the team was shown by how close they ran the top 5. Unfortunately star Qb PJ seilhammer's favourite target Pete "Slippery" Hayes has left in the wake of the "Thong gate" scandal and will be difficult to replace. Even so I see a trip to Lefkada in the playoffs for some jammy bastards.
5) Luzitian Dynasty
Real improvement last season and I fully expect that to continue. They have recruited well with QB Mike Mcklugs and LB Tony Mangello standing out. As with several teams Depth is a problem and means they're unlikely to challenge the big 4.
6. Wroclaw Mambas
After an up and down season expect them to be real playoff contenders.I don't expect them to have much joy against the big 4 but in a severly depleted conference, they should make top 8 at a canter.
7.Stockholm Vikings
Again will expect to carry on their improvement last season. Another team who if they can keep their starters fresh look impressive but in reality lack depth.Particularly true on defense where Jason "JT" Tyler and Adrian Washington will need stand out seasons.
8. Greek Gods
Cbothe has done a fine job rejuvenating the season 1 heavyweights and again I expect them to maintain their steady rise.depth is a problem but they have some quality starters and in Newbtastic an all pro safety. Throw in the fact that the passing game has been reinforced by the addition of astute signing Skoal Iosis to impressive QB Chucker Longfellow and Wideout and DJ Johnson. Will it be enough to lift them above 8th place? Watch this space....
9-16 the rest...
I'll add to the rankings later in the season when I get a better look at the others.

The best thing, having said that is every game looks competitive for a change.
.
That would have definiely swayed a tight vote In GIV's favour. Good to see the Addict effect extending to Eastern Europe!
